Nov 21st 2009 8:02AM Servers are not making "over and beyond" their salary. They make less than $3 an hour in most states. Servers are the only job where this is allowed to happen. They make less than minimum wage because the state says that their tips should equal minimum wage. Only in states like California and New York do servers make minimum wage plus tips. I do agree that tips should be based on service but people who have never worked as a server have no clue what they are talking about. Also, MOST resturants these days have an automatic tip for tables of 6 or more, that is because MOST people don't know how to tip and a table of 6 or more takes up SO much time. I have walked out on a mandatory tip before when my mom had to get up and get our own silverware and refill our drinks. All the server did was bring us our food. She followed us out of the resturant and hounded us about not paying the added gradtuity. My mom told her why and that was it. GREAT birthday dinner that was!

Nov 20th 2009 4:00PM Did you all not read that he was a MINOR when these taxes were not paid? How many of you knew anything about taxes before you were 18? Or before 25 or 30 for that matter. He is 21 now which means he was 15 in 2003. I would say he has reason to blame his management on this one.

Feb 25th 2008 11:38AM To say they are not supporting our troops is false. The other day I was there and they asked if I wanted to donate coffee to our troops. They then gave me my drink for free ($5) and I only paid $10 for the coffee to send to our troops. Not everything you read is true.
