Memphis Officials Take Action After Spike in Teen Pregnancy {ParentDish}

Jan 19th 2011 7:11PM That is an absolute disgrace. That stupidity will doom those babies to a cycle of poverty. Being a single mother almost certainly guarantees that you and your child will fall into the lowest income bracket in the nation, that is, poverty. They solution? Keep the girls and boys seperate. This school district should have same sex schooling.

Study Says Men Are Attracted to Unattractive Women {MyDaily}

Jan 17th 2011 8:03AM A question for the guys. I have been dating a guy for about six months now. We have great chemistry and get along great. He says that I am the best thing that ever happened to him, no woman has ever satisfied him like I do and I am exactly what he needs. What does that mean?

Watch This: Emma Watson Gets a Music Video Tramp {Cinematical}

Jun 30th 2010 10:20AM The 80's have come full circle, and One Night Only has a great sound and look! (Kind of Nelson meets Duran Duran). The 80's had happy, easy to sing and dance along with music, and the songs were just pure fun.

I am bored with rap and hip hop. The artists don't sing, and they don't really dance, and you can't sing or dance along with them either.

So glad to hear One Night Only. I hope the are the start of a new retro trend.

Leona Lewis Rescues Homeless Bunny {Pawnation OLD}

Jul 30th 2009 11:57PM So I guess she should have taken the homeless man home to run around in her garden with her rotweiler?

She doesn't know the guy's story. He might have been given all the help in the world by a loving family, counsellors, rehab, etc., etc. Some people are homeless due to bad breaks. Other people are homeless because they continue to make bad decisions where they are willing to take hand outs, but not hand ups.

The Obama Family To Vacation on Martha's Vineyard {Politics Daily}

Jul 18th 2009 4:14PM WHO CARES! This is like the fourth or fifth "working" family vacation he has taken with his entire family in tow for sight seeing on the public dime. All we ever get out of this arrangement is more photo ops, teleprompter speeches and coverage about what Michelle is wearing now.

I don't want a celebrity for President. I want a President who stays in his office and works EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY until the economy genuinely improves. Every time the unemployment rate goes up or another big company goes under, he is out of the country or doing something fun, like golfing or going to New York for a date night.

Get back to work, Mr. President, and when our unemployment rate improves, then you have earned a vacation, not before, because believe me, it is no vacation for most of us right now. It is a struggle to just keep a roof over our heads.

Michelle Obama and the Arms Debate {Stylelist (Main)}

Mar 4th 2009 2:10PM That look has gotten so tired already. She has an entire world of fashion available to her, and she just goes with the same old same old.

BTW, it's wintertime and below 30 degrees even in D.C.--summer dresses are ridiculous. Please get some sleeves when appropriate!

Cash-strapped families can't afford to keep their pets {WalletPop}

Dec 24th 2008 12:03PM Matt, you obviously never had a terminally suffering pet. There comes a point in a painful terminal illness that the kindest thing you can do for the pet is to euthanize it while you hold him and kiss him. I just had to put my little one year old persian to sleep. He was only one year's old, and we had spent thousands on him to try to save him at first, and then just to improve his comfort while he faced his inevitable demise. He had been bred (unknown to us) to unhealthy parents, and had come to us with with the viral exposure and genetic predisposition to come down with fatal FIP. FIP is a horrible disease, and a horrible death. It is 100% incurable. If I could have prolonged his life or saved him and it had cost a million dollars, I would have done it for him. The last gift I could give him was a humane euthanization surrounded with his loved ones, and to creamate him with a viewing so that I could bring his remains home to rest in his favorite spot. We don't own a house or yard, so I had no where to bury him, but now he is home with me in the only form that I could take him home.

Euthanasia is the best gift you can give your pet when he is in terminal pain, and can't breathe properly, eat or sleep. Just make sure that the pet is actually terminal and you have done what you can for him, and you will know that you did the right thing to ease his pain and release his little soul to a better place.

No longer going bananas: plague may wipe out entire fruit {WalletPop}

May 30th 2008 9:43PM I don't remember seeing anything in the Bible about bananas. Barabas, yes, but not bananas,

Middle-class and on food stamps -- hunger problem worsens {WalletPop}

May 20th 2008 9:37AM The economy isn't in a downward spiral because Bush is president. Markets are cyclical; downturns are inevitable. No one was complaining about the economy from 2000 until 2007 when they were all flipping houses and making tons of money doing it.

If you have kids or haven't put together a substantial emergency savings, you should not be going into a speculative job like real estate sales (commission only) or home building. I have no sympathy for the woman who left a good job to go into real estate sales and now is looking for food stamps. She was a terrible financial planner. I feel sorry for her kids though, that she chose to gamble to their detriment.

If you have a mortgage, a car, furniture, etc., I shouldn't have to foot the bill with my taxes to pay for your food stamps. You can rent an apartment and use mass transit like I do, while I am still saving up to buy a house the old fashioned way---with a 20% downpayment.

Shockingly Cocky Quotes: No. 16 {Spinner}

May 6th 2008 8:44PM I thought this was going to be a George Michael quote, I didn't think of Elton John first. Maybe he isn't the most famous homosexual after all.

And, who cares?
