In Sarah Palins case she throws boulders, so whatever is thrown back at her she deserves. Was Sarah Palin’s daughter pregnant and not married? YES. Was Sarah Palin’s youngest daughter spewing obscene profanities on Facebook. YES. Is this true, who knows? Where there is smoke there is FIRE. She always tries to make herself out to be the victim. Just like she did with the Tucson disaster. BOO HOOO POORR SARAH.. Wait a minute Sarah Palin is not poor. She became RICH by turning her back on the good people in Alaska who voted her in a Governor and USED them for her own personal gain.

It takes a big man to admit that there are others of political beliefs or values than his and that they have the right to voice them also. To me, that is what this country was founded upon and what it is about today. Yes, some of Barbra’s view are controversial. Yes so does every human being in our great country have the RIGHT TO VOICE THEIR OWN POINT OF VIEW. Some may hate her voice or music or movies or politics, but as you say she has the right to voice them and try to make a good use of her celebrity status other than go in and out of jail or rehab as so many celebrities do today. Like her not, she tries to make a positive difference in our world. Again, congratulations Simon. I applaud you for your moving words here showing that you are a true American with which our country was founded.

Don't you read? Check your facts before you open your mouth and make rash stupid statements. Barbra Streisand gives more money away to charities than just about any other entertainer out there. DUH???? Wake up and smell the coffee. Oprah gives prizes away on her shows for ratings. Yes she does do alot for charity too. However, Barbra Streisand has for 5 decades, yes that is 50 years given money to charities of all different kinds. Barbra had donated hundreds of millions of Dollars to charities. She is a real Philanthropist for an entertainer.

She spouts family values and is purported to have been pregnant herself when she got married. Her no talent daughter with the illegitimate child got on Dancing with the Stars because her last name was Palin. Bristol made it to the finals only because of her mother’s Right Wing Tea Bagger friends voting for her. She had the lowest scores of any dancer on the show and made it to the finals. Fraud, YES. So when some of you are calling Barbra a dumb nitwit, look at your Republican Tea Bagger Star. Mrs Hypocrite/Fraud Sarah Palin. Now that is a dumb nitwit.

Dec 30th 2010 2:11PM I am very happy to see that so many people do realize how much of this BIG MONEY that Barbra Streisand makes SHE GIVES AWAY TO CHARATIES. Most of the money she donates is though the Streisand Foundation, not in her name. She does not want or need the recognition. Barbra Streisand recently wrote a book on design and is giving most of that money to research for the American Heart Association for Women because she knows so many women have heart issues and there is not enough research being done to help them. Her last few concerts she also gave a hefty percentage to various charities to help people. She does not need the money, she sings in an effort to benefit others.

Dec 30th 2010 2:05PM geoffharm1, Barbra could have gotten her nose fixed decades ago, but chose not to. It would have destroyed her velvet voice and she also chose to use her nose as a sort of trademark that even if you have a bit of physical difference, you can still be a star.
