Twenty years ago I bought a house in Baltimore through a realtor. It was a completely legit transaction and I paid cash. Shortly after I settled city workers broke in and destroyed the place. The city charged me for that break in. Because I didn;t pay it, the city took the house from me and I had nothing left. NOW THAT IS A STORY!!!!

If they hadn't given the old home away to a family in need, it would have been torn down, which is an insane waste of good resources. The crew should keep this kid on as a consultant in future makeovers because he obviously knows the meaning of the phrase "waste not, want not". Hopefully materials and appliances from the old home could be recycled to families/homes in need. It is called "recycling"!!!

@ Roy--You are right. Parents should ask themselves those three questions, and if they can't answer them properly, they shouldn't have children.

Yes, parents should leave teaching to qualified instructors. Parents should also not attempt to teach reading, writing, arithmetic, and manners. And don't forget, sex education and American history should only be taught by qualified teachers. After all, we wouldn't want any child growing up thinking the second amendment is part of the constitution, would we?
Parents also shouldn't mention anything about God or prayers either. They took them out of the schools to make the schools better, so let's not put them in the home and ruin the children.
