Aug 9th 2011 8:59AM I remember when this "latest fad" first came out. Back in the late 50's or early 60's we had these "flip/flops" but they were called "shower clogs" then. They were ment to wear in the shower to help prevent athletes foot. They are the leading cause of foot injury in the country. When worn on the "boardwalk" you are prone to get splinters in your foot and toes, and the chemicals in the wood preservative is likely to cause infection that can result in loss of the foot or toe. Good luck to all you flip/flop wearers. They may be calling you "gimpy" soon.

Jun 9th 2011 10:02AM Unless I miss my guess and Palin does run, I think she is one of those people that wants to be famous for being famous. Although I like her conservative views, there are others out ther that would make a better President with the same views. I like Herman Caine and Alan West both, and as a Reppublican ticket would be great. I like Michele Bachman also. I don't think I could stand 4 years of Palins screetchy voice. It is annoying to say the least.

According to what was inferred on the Bud Shootout commentary on Fox, if JR. doesn't get his act together this season, it's bye bye from Hendricks Motorsports. Hendricks can do much better with someone else. Jr. needs to get his sister out of his racing, and concentrate on racing and not doing commercials and partying.

They are arrogant entitled rich people that do little to help this country. Most never volunteer for the military, are not involved in a church, and follow the destructive Liberal/Progressive agenda. They are among the most un-American people in America. I have not attended a movie since 1987 because I feel my money is better spent on things that will help America, not tear it down.
