Well I am an Internal Medicne specialist and we absolutely do know about such things because it is our job to know what works and doesn't for our patients.How do you know what we learn and study ? Your staement that we don't know of such things is foolish at best

Dec 2nd 2010 3:57PM Answers in Genesis, the creator of this project, is a completely religious entity whose sole purpose is to teach and spread chrisitianity and this ' theme park' is there for only that one reason as well, which is religious. The Governor and the government should stay away from supporting one religion over another. Hope the ACLU takes a good look at this

Nov 14th 2008 11:48PM What a terrible way to live your life thinking you are inherently bad and then have to spend your whole life on your knees begging for forgiveness. I dont feel bad at all. I feel good and love life without a yoke around my neck. To lurk around thinking a god hears and sees everything you do is arrogant and self important. Give the world a break,believe what you want-but dont publicize it to others.

Nov 25th 2007 7:48PM People mean well when they pray, but is a deity really going to hear these prayers and somehow handle things differently.Stop or change their grief in any way because someone prayed.I think people pray because it makes THEM feel better,but doesnt change the grieving family at all.Rather than a quick prayer,why not take the time to write the family and see if their is a foundation you could support.This takes real concern and effort-not just a quick prayer

Oct 18th 2007 1:22PM Joel Osteen appears to be a kind soul,but he also is a southern charmer who tells people what they want to hear.God wants you to be prosperous and look sexy for your spouse.These ideas are fine,but they have nothing to do with religeon.He craftily mixes the two and people walk away thinking God wants this for them as well.Very powerful stuff unless you step back and think about it.Americans are very selfabsorbed and love to hear this message which other preachers emit as well.He charges for his performances and then gives a motivational talk that is quite effective and frequently filled with good advice.No problem.But remember.he is just a man who has no special ties to God and is preaching his own beliefs.He makes it seem perfectly normal that he makes hundreds of millions of dollars-charges fees,sells cd's,books,tv money etc.People then rationalize that God wants him to have it and that they should get their part as well.Now step back,do you think God really cares if you live well or buy nice undergarments.He makes you think He does.Very clever and maybe even sincere,but misguided.Do the right thing and you will prosper.I thought we were supposed do good because thats what God requests of us.Our reward is inner peace-not nicer underwear

Sep 26th 2007 3:01PM The child is precious,but this is not all that uncommon.Pure memory skills are not a sign of intellect,but actually a rather simple function of a developing brain.I hope the parents aren't deluded,like so many are today,into thinking she is a child genious.Odds are she is normal and to much emphasis could be harmful when others catch up to her
