One of the great philatelic rarities of Scandinavia is the unique 1866 Finland cover with both tête-bêche and horizontal pairs of red brown 5-penni and a blue-on-blue 20-penni. This cover is part of the Bill Gross Scandinavian Collection that will be offered by Spink Shreves Galleries with a pre-sale estimate of $75,000 to $100,000 in a public auction on May 16, 2008 with all proceeds donated by Sue and Bill Gross to the Millennium Village Project.
