Fashion designer Marc Ecko is selling a colonial home listed at $1.299 million in order to help satisfy more than $2.1 million in construction liens for his New Jersey castle, Stronghold. Ecko and his wife, Allison, bought Stronghold for $7.4 million in 2005 and have hired contractors to perform more than $21.8 million in construction on the home. The Eckos lived in the colonial home which is adjacent to the castle during construction. 11/03/09
