An excellent choice for the couple who travels (or for their honeymoon); the perfect weekend bag is like the Holy Grail to me. I love Mulholland Brothers' Shorthorn and Longhorn bags. They've got a classic style, fit perfectly in the overhead or under the seat in front of you, and have bullet proof lining! The simple design is classy, and gender neutral (my husband refuses to carry my Lulu Guiness bag with poodles all over it). Bally makes a beautiful line of weekend bags with a red-white racing stripe that is equally yummy. Personally, I am partial to the Longchamp Legend bag (shown, $1,210.00). It's been with me to four continents and makes me feel like Kate Moss. 21/05/09
