As a contributing editor with Vanity Fair, Peter Newcomb oversees the New Establishment feature, the magazine’s annual tally of the 100 leaders of the Information Age. Prior to that, Newcomb coordinated the research and production of the Forbes 400 issue, the business fortnightly’s annual ranking of the country’s wealthiest people. He also was instrumental in the development and editing of the Forbes Celebrity 100, Forbes’s list of the highest-paid entertainers and athletes, and served as a co-producer of Forbes on Fox, a weekly business show broadcast on Fox News Channel. Over the course of his 20 years at Forbes, he wrote more than a dozen cover stories on the entertainment industry.

Barring occasional run-ins with the flu, Newcomb has downed a bottle of wine with dinner every night for the last 25 years.
