Jennifer Creel, a native New Yorker and mother of three children, is a fashion consultant, eyewear designer, actress and model.
She is an accomplished actress who portrayed Sophie Gage, a fashion reporter, from 2005 to 2007 on the CBS television show "The Bold and the Beautiful". Creel appeared on Ovation TV's Fashion Special, "Anatomy of a Closet" in 2009;Plum TV's "The Juice" in 2008 and 2009 and was featured in a documentary "Christmas Shopping," a special that aired on Vogue TV in 2008.
Creel has a background in fashion and was a women's wear active designer for Polo, Ralph Lauren from 1990 to 2000. Prior to that she was an interior decorator and also worked as a gemologist for Ben Zuckers, where she specialized in colored precious stones.
Most recently, Creel has designed a line of sunglasses for Modo Eyewear, which is sold at Bergdorf Goodman department stores. The line features seven styles of eco-friendly high fashion eyewear, featuring hand-figured leather and bamboo accents.
Her inspiration is the fashion designer Valentino. "I loved Valentino growing up," she recalls. "Valentino was able to take an elegant timeless dress to another level because of his ability to create details with unbelievable craftsmanship which had given him a style that was always very recognizable."
