The Once Upon a Dream sleep capsule (8 of 13)
The sleeping capsule, which was manufactured in Italy, is actually a nod to Madam Clicquot-Ponsardin, the longtime owner of Veuve Clicquot, who was a notorious insomniac. Madam Clicquot-Ponsardin was also a noted innovator---in 1816 she invented the first riddling table, which made it possible to ensure a crystal-clear wine. The process continues to be used today.
