American Express has a variety of specially themed gift cards but perhaps none more practical than the Fill It Up card. The card is a prepaid card that is accepted everywhere American Express cards are welcome. Most major gas station brands also offer gift cards. It's not the most romantic of gifts but given gas prices over the past year it is one that might be deeply appreciated every time your recipient gets the luxury of a free fill-up. 09/12/07
