Donald Trump battled environmentalists over his desire to to create a $2 billion golf resort in Scotland. The development is planned for a 1,400 acre site in the dunes dunes on the Menie Estate at Balmedie. His plans were narrowly rejected by the Aberdeenshire Council late last year. It has now been approved and Trump is expected to go forward with the project but there are rumors that the project may proceed more slowly than was originally planned. 26/06/08
