Waterview Tower (1 of 11)
The Waterview Tower project in Chicago has been halted for nearly a year now. The project was to be a 90-story residential building combining a hotel and condo units. But the tower, which is currently stalled out at 26 floors, has lost its hotel. Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has announced that it is pulling out of the project, canceling its plans for a 200-room hotel. No one seems to known when or even if the Waterview Tower project will resume construction. It is likely that the partly-finished shell will stay as is until the economic picture brightens. 06/03/09
