1897 unique Iceland 3-prirOnly one mint example is known of the 1897 Iceland stamp with a 3-prir large type surcharge overprint, and it is in the Bill Gross Scandinavian Collection that will be offered with a pre-sale estimate of $20,000 to $30,000 in a public auction by Spink Shreves Galleries on May 16, 2008. All proceeds from the collection's sale will be donated by Sue and Bill Gross to the Millennium Village Project.
