Lot 285 Catalog Description: "One of two, 32-light George III-style Waterford chandeliers with contemporary glass additions, this molded and cut-glass chandelier provides a sparkling highlight within the mirrored walls of the Terrace Room. A baluster standard enclosed by tapering rings holds a large ring with three tiers of S-scrolled arms, some of which end in serrated bobêche with elaborate baluster-form nozzles and others in obelisks. The chandelier is hung throughout with faceted coffin prisms above a tapering coffin prism curtain enclosing an acorn pendant. This one hangs on the right as you face the windows. Appraised by Sotheby's in 2007 for $225,000. Offered here without reserve. H78" x 69" Estimate: $50,000 - 100,000 08/01/10
