In 2005, the Qatar Football Association announced the 30-story Digital Sports hotel, a $134 million luxury hotel. The project calls for a seven star hotel with digital sports gaming areas housed within the extra space of the hotel's exterior. There will also be a floor dedicated to the Sports Competition Hall and a separate Sports Conference Hall for press meetings, sports stars interviews, sports' product and event launches, and a cinema/projection room for live sporting action and live sports events from around the world. All rooms will have large flat screen TVs with international sports channels. 17/09/08
