Lovers of Art Deco-era French sportscars will have their opportunity to bid on a couple of pristine examples at the upcoming Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, where RM Auctions is to set up shop for the first time.

In addition to the Bertone concept cars on the docket will be this beautiful 1938 Talbot-Lago T150C-SS Teardrop Coupe. Chassis #90112 is one of only 11 with Figoni et Falaschi's second-series "New York" bodywork, and is further distinguished by its sun roof.

There's also a 1937 Bugatti 57SC Atalante (not to be confused with the rarer Atlantic coupe). One of only 40 built, chassis #57551 is an absolute gem in its own right.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos, Auctions

Classic Talbot & Bugatti for Auction at Villa d'Este originally appeared on Luxist on Tue, 12 Apr 2011 10:01:00 EST.
Typically considered a budget brand, Dacia isn't a company whose products we normally cover here at Luxist. But this is no ordinary Dacia. This is a very exclusive version of their Duster sport-utility vehicle made just for French ski instructors.

The École de Ski Français edition Dacia Duster comes with such extra equipment as a ski rack on the roof, an aluminum panel to protect the oil sump underneath the engine, an extra set of wheels with snow tires, and of course the emblem of the ESF. It only costs €18,990, but you'll need to be a certified French skiing instructor to buy one.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos, Sports

Dacia Duster 'Ecole de Ski Francais' Edition originally appeared on Luxist on Mon, 11 Apr 2011 14:01:00 EST.

Say hello to the Spada Condatronca Monza. Now say goodbye, because this may be the last time you ever see one.

Set to be unveiled at the upcoming Top Marques show in Monaco, the Monza roadster is the latest version of the Codatronca -- the vision of famed Zagato designer Ercole Spada and his son, Paolo, and has just leaked out onto the net.

Like the existing Codatronca coupe, the Monza roadster is powered by a Corvette Z06 engine with twin turbochargers for a total of 700 horsepower. With only 2,500 pounds of aluminum and magnesium to schlepp around, that should be enough for a 0 to 60 time in three seconds flat and a face-shredding 210 mph top speed. But don't expect to see one parked in front of your favorite local nightspots.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Spada Codatronca Monza originally appeared on Luxist on Wed, 06 Apr 2011 13:01:00 EST.
The BMW M3 has been available in all manner of body-styles: coupe, convertible, sedan...but not a pickup. That is, until now.

BMW has created this one-of-a-kind M3 pickup as something of a ruse. Yet it actually exists. The truck packs the same 4.0-liter, 420-horsepower V8 as the production M3, only it's capable of hauling 110 pounds of whatever you need. It also boasts a removable roof for open-air driving, but you can't buy it. BMW built one as a gag, and will use it at the M division's workshop to help move parts around.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

BMW M3 Pickup originally appeared on Luxist on Wed, 06 Apr 2011 10:01:00 EST.
Feast your eyes on our first look at the new BMW M5. Technically a "concept car," the M5 you see here should closely represent the upcoming production version.

The car is set to debut later this month at the Shanghai Motor Show, but has already leaked onto the Internet. No details were announced, but what we already know is that the 2012 BMW M5 will feature the twin-turbo V8 from the X5M and X6M performance crossovers (instead of the V10 from the previous model).

Stay tuned...
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

BMW M5 Concept to Debut in Shanghai originally appeared on Luxist on Tue, 05 Apr 2011 14:01:00 EST.
Aviation enthusiasts have been closely following the development of the HondaJet. Designed and engineered by the same Japanese motor company that builds everything from cars and motorcycles to lawnmowers and robots, the HondaJet is a thorough re-think of a private jet.

It's been a long time in the making, having started with research as far back as the 1980s and making its first flight in late 2003. Now the HondaJet has made its first FAA-certified test flight, achieving a top speed of 489 miles per hour at 30,000 feet -- by far surpassing the CBR sport bike, the Acura NSX sportscar and Honda F1 cars as the fastest thing the company has ever produced.

The jet is configured to carry five passengers in addition to the pilot and co-pilot. Powered by General Electric jet engines, the aircraft designated HA-420 will be built in Greensboro, North Carolina. Orders are being taken now at around $3.65 million, with production planned for 70 units per year and deliveries targeted for late 2012.

HondaJet Hits 489 MPH as First Deliveries Approach originally appeared on Luxist on Tue, 05 Apr 2011 13:01:00 EST.
While attention around the world is focused on the impending marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton, further south in Europe they're preparing for another royal wedding: that of Prince Albert II of Monaco to Miss Charlese Wittstock. And they've just announced the vehicle that will be used in the July 2 wedding.

This Lexus LS600h has been specially outfitted with the royal flag, "MC 01" license plate and flashing lights.

Between the two of them, Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller have no shortage of successes to claim their own. Many of those accomplishments revolve around reality television programs like "American Idol," "X Factor," "So You Think You Can Dance?" and "America's Got Talent." Bernie Ecclestone apparently thinks quite highly of their show business acumen, and is now reportedly recruiting their talents to bring an added dose of showmanship to Formula One racing.

One idea Cowell and Fuller have reportedly put forward to the billionaire F1 chief is to cut the three-day grand prix weekend to two, and to replace the customary Friday practice sessions with a second preview race.
Cowell is a known racing fan and automotive enthusiast, while Fuller has been actively involved in the sport previously. The producer/promoter headed up the Honda F1 Team's branding initiative several years ago, and recently signed former world champion Lewis Hamilton to his talent agency alongside the likes of David Beckham, Sir Michael Caine and Jennifer Lopez.

'American Idol's' Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller Moving on to Formula 1? originally appeared on Luxist on Tue, 05 Apr 2011 08:01:00 EST.

Even on its own, Alfa Romeo is capable of producing some achingly beautiful sports cars. Just look at the 8C Competizione or the new 4C Concept unveiled in Geneva for evidence. But everyone can use a little help once in a while, and for Alfa, that help is coming from Zagato.

The Milanese design house has created countless rolling masterpieces, among them the TZ, the TZ2 and the TZ3 Corsa you see above. Commissioned as a one-off by a wealthy enthusiast, the TZ3 Corsa debuted at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este last year.

But what's that fourth car wrapped in a bow? We didn't know when it surfaced around the holidays, but now the company has confirmed that it will build a street version of the TZ3, available for purchase by those with the means.

The TZ3 Stradale is expected to be based on the Dodge Viper (whose parent company is linked to Alfa's), with an 8.4-liter V10 instead of the Maserati V8 that powers the Corsa. Pricing has yet to be revealed, but for those kind of exclusivity and beauty, don't expect it to come cheap.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale by Zagato originally appeared on Luxist on Mon, 04 Apr 2011 15:01:00 EST.

Increasingly concerned with comfort and less with some stodgy image, luxury buyers are ditching the traditional limousine in favor of more commodious modes of transportation. A few months ago, we brought you news of the exclusive Sprinter Grand Edition from Mercedes-Benz Manhattan, but if laying out $190,000 for the privilege of riding in an opulent van doesn't strike you as a smart buy, you may want to turn to Brilliant Transportation.

The luxury shuttle service operates fleets in New York and Los Angeles. Its vans -- based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter -- may look like delivery trucks, but inside they're more luxurious than a Maybach.

Four leather arm chairs and a plush rear bench distinguish the interior, along with a pair of 32-inch flat-screen televisions, with wireless headphones, satellite TV and an eight-speaker sound system. There's also wireless internet on board, a color printer and speaker phone.

If you're chartering a jet from coast to coast, we couldn't think of a better way to get to and from the airport on either end.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Service from Brilliant Transportation originally appeared on Luxist on Mon, 04 Apr 2011 10:01:00 EST.

Concept cars are typically designed and crafted as one-of-a-kind creations by automakers or independent design studios, shown at a couple of expositions, and then disappear into museum collections. But every once in a while, these radical rarities come up for sale or auction. And that once in a while is about to arrive, and arrive in a big way, this coming May. That's when the venerable Bertone Museum collection will cross the auction block.

The six concept cars were all created in the 1960s-1980s by the famed Italian design house, which is now facing a restructuring and is selling off much of its collection. The items up for auction are the 1967 Lamborghini Marzal, 1970 Lancia Stratos HF Zero, 1963 Chevrolet Testudo, 1974 Lamborghini Bravo, 1980 Lamborghini Athon and 1978 Lancia Sibilo concept cars, ranging in pre-sale price estimates between six figures and as much as $2.5 million apiece.

The sale is being conducted by the venerable RM Auctions as part of its first event during the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on the shores of Lake Como on May 21.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos, Auctions

Bertone Concept Cars up for Auction at Villa d'Este originally appeared on Luxist on Fri, 01 Apr 2011 16:01:00 EST.
With sales of its four-door coupe hitting record numbers around the globe, Porsche has announced a new top-of-the-line model. The Panamera Turbo S packs a prodigious 550 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque from its twin-turbocharged V8 engine - 50 and 37 more than the existing Panamera Turbo.

The extra oomph is said to drive the Turbo S to a 3.6-second 0-60 time and a 190 mph top speed. In other words, supercar levels of performance, with a suitably supercar price: $173,200 is where it starts. The Porsche Panamera Turbo S will be unveiled in April at the New York Auto Show.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Porsche Panamera Turbo S originally appeared on Luxist on Thu, 31 Mar 2011 08:01:00 EST.

While some automakers roll out special editions around the entire globe, the BMW Group has of late opted to create individual specials for specific markets. Witness, as examples, the Trusardi edition 5GT (exclusive to Italy), the Z4 Silver Top edition (Japan), the M3 Pure edition (Australia) and the M3 Frozen Gray edition (United States). BMW's subsidiaries Mini and Rolls-Royce have followed the same formula with the Mini Cooper Mat Edition (France) and Yas Eagle edition Phantom (Abu Dhabi), and now BMW has announced a new special edition M3 exclusive to China.

The M3 Matte Edition packs the same V8 engine and everything else as the standard model, but is distinguished by its special matte black paint scheme, offset by black chrome trim and high-gloss 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside there's carbon fiber and red trim, but you'll have to live in China and act fast to get your hands on one.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

BMW M3 Matte Editon for China originally appeared on Luxist on Wed, 30 Mar 2011 15:01:00 EST.
A very special Ferrari is set to cross the auction block in May. One of only 1,400 examples made, and only 158 in right-hand drive, this metallic blue 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona has some very prominent provenance indeed.

Chassis #16531 most recently appeared on an episode of the hit BBC television program Top Gear, where celebrity presenter Richard Hammond drove it along the riviera from Portofino to Saint-Tropez while his co-host James May raced him in a speedboat. But long before the filming of the episode, its first owner was none other than HRH Charles, Prince of Wales. The car is being auctioned by Historics at Brooklands and is expected to fetch around £180,000 - £210,000.

Scotland has a beautiful tradition when it comes to marriages. When a child is born, the parents lay down a cask of whisky, and years later at the wedding, a special "Wedding Malt" is blended from the groom's cask and the bride's. Of course for the tradition to be practiced today, everyone would have to lay down a cask for each of their children, which is not so commonly practiced these days. But the tradition is kept alive by affluent families acquiring a cask from the groom's year of birth and another from the bride's.

With the marriage of Price William and Kate Middleton fast approaching, the English Whisky Company has been commissioned to create this special wedding malt. And while it does not appear to be a classic wedding malt in the vintage of the casks selected for the blend, it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate along with the royal couple. A very limited quantity of commemorative bottles (700ml each) are being offered, and are available directly from the distillery and from Single Malts Direct at around £70.00 inclusive of the (recently increased) value added tax.

Royal Wedding Malt from the English Whisky Company originally appeared on Luxist on Wed, 30 Mar 2011 10:01:00 EST.
Taking on the likes of Rolls-Royce and Bentley is no mean feat. In fact few are up to the task - not even Aston Martin and Mercedes-Benz parent company Daimler. The latter has tried with limited success to turn a profit on the Maybach brand, but the latest reports indicate that it's preparing to take a different approach.

Because Daimler is used to building cars in large volumes, it has been negotiating with Aston Martin for several years now on a new partnership that could see the British automaker - which has more expertise in small-batch production - build the next generation of Maybachs. Production would, according to reports, take place at Aston Martin's headquarters at Gaydon, Warwickshire in England, pictured above.

What would Aston get in return? The technology - including chassis, engines and more - on which to base its relaunched Lagonda brand, which is part of the company's portfolio but has not been used in decades. The first Lagonda luxury sedan could be built alongside the next Maybach, followed by a high-end crossover/utility vehicle based on the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Daimler and Aston Martin to Collaborate on High-End Maybachs and Lagondas originally appeared on Luxist on Wed, 30 Mar 2011 08:01:00 EST. Commuters passing through the busy Zurich Bahnhof over the course of a week in February got a special treat. There Volvo set up its latest S60 luxury sedan against a white backdrop as an "art car" project, and invited ten graffiti artists to share their vision. The process was captured by camera at 10-second intervals to make a three-minute time-lapse video you can watch after the jump.
Continue reading Volvo S60 Street Art Car Project at the Zurich Train Station

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos, Art

Volvo S60 Street Art Car Project at the Zurich Train Station originally appeared on Luxist on Tue, 29 Mar 2011 16:01:00 EST.
Rolls-Royce has 82 dealerships around the world. But the largest of them isn't at its factory in Goodwood. It's not in London, either, nor is it in Manhattan or Beverly Hills. It's in Abu Dhabi.

The latest of eight dealerships in the Middle East, the new Abu Dhabi showroom encompasses some 10,000 square feet of floorspace, including uncluttered display for five cars (Rolls currently only makes four model variants) plus a coffee bar, customer configuration lounge and adjacent service center.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Rolls-Royce Flagship Showroom Debuts in Abu Dhabi originally appeared on Luxist on Tue, 29 Mar 2011 13:01:00 EST.
With the highly-anticipated marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton fast approaching, reports have confirmed the posh vehicles that will be used in the procession.

According to Buckingham Palace's transport manager, the princess-to-be will ride to Westminster Abbey in a 1977 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI. The limousine from the royal motor pool was the subject of an attack when student protesters broke its windows with Prince Charles and Camilla on board this past December.

Returning from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace, the newlyweds are scheduled to ride in a 1902 State Landau carriage, however if the weather doesn't permit for an open carriage ride, the 1881 Glass Coach that traditionally carries royal brides will be hitched up and called into service.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, teenage drivers are four times more likely to get into a car accident than adults. In fact, driving accounts for the leading cause of death among American teenagers. Armed with those kinds of statistics, Mercedes-Benz USA is launching its own teenage driver training program.

The Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy is mirrored on a similar program running in the UK, and aims to turn participating new drivers into safe drivers. The Academy is targeted as an additional training program over and above what states require in order to obtain a license, and Mercedes is even in discussions with local DMVs to integrate it into a comprehensive program as well.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy originally appeared on Luxist on Tue, 29 Mar 2011 08:01:00 EST.
Canadian luxury phone maker Mobiado is in Switzerland this week for the BaselWorld watch and jewelry show with the new CPT002 concept phone. Designed in collaboration with Aston Martin, the CPT002 is comprised of a fully transparent sapphire crystal capacitive touchscreen display suspended between two platinum bars that house all the electronics and battery.

Striking though it is, the CPT002 is more than just a pretty face. The tie-in with Aston Martin comes into play as the phone is designed to interface with the car's infotainment system, wirelessly interfacing with social media sites to help you locate the people you're meeting up with or updating them automatically on the progress of your road trip or day at the race track. The built-in accelerometer will also alert the car itself in case of an impending crash, preparing the car's safety systems for the imminent collision.

Impressive stuff, though strictly a concept for the time being.

Aston Martin Concept Phone from Mobiado originally appeared on Luxist on Mon, 28 Mar 2011 11:01:00 EST.

If you were going on an expedition and wanted to take all your luxuries with you, what would you pick? A Range Rover? Maybe a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen? Neither of these nor any other vehicle can rival the sheer capabilities of the Zetros.

Made by Mercedes' truck division, the Zetros packs a 7.2-liter inline-six diesel engine with 326 horsepower and 960 lb-ft of torque driving all six wheels for a 16-ton cargo capacity and go-anywhere capabilities. But while these vehicles are used by militaries around the world to move cargo, a pair of Mongolian businessmen -- one runs a mining operation and the other a brewery -- have commissioned a pair for their hunting expeditions.

The specially-made models feature full bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom (complete with shower, marble tiles and under-floor heating), 46-inch flatscreen TV monitors, outdoor grilles, Bose sound systems, self-adjusting motorized satellite dishes, wireless internet... the works. Their new owners use them for hunting wolves in the Altai mountains with an eagle.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Mercedes-Benz Zetros 6x6 Luxury Expedition Vehicle originally appeared on Luxist on Mon, 28 Mar 2011 08:01:00 EST.

Two hundreds years is an exceptional anniversary to celebrate, and having been founded in 1811, that's exactly what Perrier-Jouët is marking this year. And to celebrate the occasion, the French champagne house is launching what is termed as the world's first "living legend" champagne.

The Perrier-Jouët Bi-Centenaire program involves a (presumably quite wealthy) buyer selecting a magnum of Perrier-Jouët's Belle Epoque 1998 champagne, which is then set down in the winery's cellars for as much as 100 years, after which the buyer's descendants are invited to pick up the finely-aged bottle. The entire process is limited to 100 bottles, each fetching a price of 10,000 euros.

The launch of the program was celebrated with a lavish feast attended by 200 guests -- including many local and international celebrities -- who enjoyed a recreation of the menu crafted for the company's centarian dinner a hundred years ago, prepared by French chef Jean-Louis Nomicos under the tutelage of his mentor Alain Ducasse.

Perrier-Jouet Celebrates Bicentennial with World's First "Living Legacy" Champagne originally appeared on Luxist on Fri, 25 Mar 2011 13:01:00 EST.
German cars Mercedes-Benz, Porsches and BMWs are loved by their owners for their meticulous engineering. But private consumers aren't the only ones who've noticed their capabilities. So have the organizers of some of the most prestigious motor racing series in the world. And though both compete at the top levels, it's not for racing cars that they've been tapped this time. It's for safety cars.
Continue reading German Carmakers Tapped for Motorsport Safety Cars

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos, Sports

German Carmakers Tapped for Motorsport Safety Cars originally appeared on Luxist on Fri, 25 Mar 2011 08:01:00 EST.
Indulge Wines Thinks Outside the Box

Remember back in the day when wine came only in bottles? Then came boxed wine. But even that is essentially a bag inside a box. But now Californian vineyard Indulge Wines is cutting the box out of the equation with wine in a bag.

The winery based in Buellton, Santa Barbara County, is offering a 2009 Sauvignon Blanc and a 2009 Pinot Noir in 1.5-liter bags that are equivalent to two regular-sized bottles. And while they may not seem as classy, they do offer several benefits. One is portability, in that the bags are lighter to transport both for the buyer and for distribution, the "Astrapouch" accounting for only 2% of a full bag's total weight. There's also less waste, and the wine is set to keep for 30 days after opening.

Even for those of us who write about whisky professionally, there's still much to be learned about single malts, including how they're made and how they're best to be enjoyed. Master classes go a long way towards filling in the vast knowledge gap, but not everyone can get to one of these sessions. So to reach out to the whisky-sipping public, Balvenie has launched a series of films under the Whisky Academy banner.

Exclusive. Fast. Stylish. Few cars are as eminently desirable as the Audi R8. More desirable still is the V10-powered R8 5.2 FSI. But at the top of the heap is the R8 GT. Unveiled at the Paris Auto Salon last year, the R8 GT packs the same V10 engine, but tuned to 560 horsepower and with 180 fewer pounds to drag around, it's that much faster.

Only 90 examples of this raw performance machine will be coming to the United States, each carrying a price tag of $196,800, making it the most expensive car Audi offers, and probably the most expensive it ever has.
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Audi R8 GT Coming to America for $200K originally appeared on Luxist on Thu, 24 Mar 2011 08:01:00 EST. Each year, the Top Marques show in Monaco brings out some of the finest pieces of craftsmanship, from cars to watches. And this year's event is sure not to disappoint. Among the many debuts scheduled for the Monte Carlo exposition are a pair of custom supercars crafted in Italy and based on the Chevrolet Corvette.
Continue reading Coachbuilt Italian Corvettes to Debut at Top Marques Monaco

Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

Coachbuilt Italian Corvettes to Debut at Top Marques Monaco originally appeared on Luxist on Wed, 23 Mar 2011 16:01:00 EST. Bicycles are one of the oldest forms of mechanical transport we have. So surely there's not much new that can be done with it, right? That's what we thought until we saw the Venge racing bike.

Gordon & MacPhail have set down a new benchmark with its Generations series. The label started with the 70-year-old Mortlach, and has now been followed by a Glenlivet of the same age. But since not everyone will be able to buy the 70yo Livet -- quantities being both extremely limited and expensive -- the independent bottler has accompanied it with the Glenlivet Decades private collection.

The Decades collection is comprised of five bottles representing five decades of Glenlivet history: one bottle each from 1954, 1963, 1974, 1980 and 1991.

The enticing range is available as a five-bottle pack for £2,850, or individually at prices ranging from £95 to £1,250 depending on the age.

Glenlivet Decades from Gordon & MacPhail originally appeared on Luxist on Wed, 23 Mar 2011 13:01:00 EST.
At the Geneva Motor Show last year, Porsche wowed the crowds with the 918 Spyder. A conceptual successor to the Carrera GT, the 918 Spyder showed what a hybrid could be in the extreme. Greeted by positive reactions, Porsche approved the model for production, and has now announced that it is accepting early orders.

The production version packs a 4.0-liter V8 engine and a pair of electric motors, working in unison to deliver 718 horsepower for a 3.1-second sprint to sixty and an impressive 78 miles per gallon. Only 918 examples will be offered, each fetching $845,000.

Just a month after lifting the veil on the new C-Class coupe, German automaker Mercedes-Benz has released its latest hot rod.

The C63 AMG Coupe brings all the hallmarks of the freshly revised for 2012 C63 AMG sedan into a two-door format. The coupe packs a 6.2-liter V8 producing 451 horsepower for a 4.4 second 0-60 time and a 155 mph top speed, or equipped with the optional AMG Development package, 481hp for a 4.3-second sprint to 60 and a 174 mph top speed.

Upgraded aerodynamics, interior, wheels, tires, brakes and suspension are also part of the vehicle slated to debut next month at the New York Auto Show in Manhattan's Javitz Center.

Enthusiasts of Scotland's island whiskies may already be familiar with The Arran Malt. Distilled in Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, the single malt scotch has gained a following among drinkers and tourists alike. Now the distillery is launching the latest bottling in its special Icon of Arran range.

Ruaraidh (apparently pronounced "roo-ree" - don't get us started on Gaelic) honors the distillery's de facto mascot, distillery manager James MacTaggart's Scottish terrier. If you've visited the distillery you may have seen Ruaraidh running about the grounds, and now his face and name adorn this unique bottling.

The product of 12 years of maturation, the Ruaraidh malt was laid down in ex-Olorosso sherry hogshead barrels back in 1998, and is now being offered in a limited edition, non-chill filtered and uncolored series of 6,000 bottles.

Ruaraidh Special Edition Single Malt from Arran originally appeared on Luxist on Fri, 18 Mar 2011 09:00:00 EST. There are some pretty striking electronics designs out there -- whether they're from the iHome Studio Series or Bang & Olufsen. While talented industrial designers toil away at making our gadgets more beautiful, few have tapped into the pool of the world's most renowned designers. Names like Yves Behar, with whom Denmark's Aesir has teamed up for this latest top-of-the-line mobile phone.

Independent bottlers Gordon & MacPhail stole headlines last year in the whisky world when they released the oldest single malt ever bottled. That was a 70-year old scotch from the Mortlach distillery, launching the company's Generations series. Now G&M has followed up with another classic, this time from the world-famous Glenlivet.
Those who enjoy putting a little "Irish" in their coffee have no shortage of liqueurs to choose from: Frengelico, Grand Marnier and Kalhua are long-time favorites, but arguably most popular is Baileys. For those looking, however, for Baileys flavor without the booze, American dairy company HP Hood offers a range of non-alcoholic Baileys Coffee Creamers.

Several months ago BMW revealed the new 6 Series Convertible. But unlike archrival Mercedes-Benz' SL-Class, the 6 Series doesn't come only in drop-top form. And now the Bavarian automaker has released its fixed-roof counterpart.

The 2012 BMW 650i Coupe is initially available with the company's 4.4-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine, driving 400 horsepower to the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. It sits nestled in a new shape with tauter lines, and comes packed with all the latest luxury features and safety technology you'd expect from this level of European sports coupe.
