I am in love...with a handbag. It is clear to me this bag was made just for me! I really like the mix of leather and suede, the special detailing and especially this shade of pink. Olive-green is one of my favorite colors although I'm surprised Lanvin didn't wait until the fall to release this autumnal-hued bag. The Amalia Cabas Leather tote is composed of quilted leather which makes one think of a Jackie O. type of classic styling. Sporting two black leather and gold-chain handles, black satin trim, a push button fastening, zipped internal pocket and designer-embossed satin lining it is chic winner for conservative types. Summer farmer's markets mean I need to keep my totes available in my car at all times in case I swing into one on a random day or see a farmstand on the side of the road. Anya Hindmarch's totes have spoken to a specific use in the past like her Wine Tote but what specifically does her 'Available' tote say about its owner? I'm 'available for drinks tonight'? I'm 'available to carry your groceries'? Thankfully the other side states you are 'Unavailable' so you have an out if you happen to suggest false advertising.

In the warmer months, unless I am going to an all day outing that requires a change of shoes or clothes, I prefer to carry as little as possible which makes Alexander Wang's envelope-style clutch so attractive. With all the press Vancouver has received lately with the Olympic Games I would think a waterfront property there would be one hot item! Although I have to say I was a bit surprised that the $8.5 million home only offered three bedrooms and four baths.
