According to Sanderon, the company which makes the device, quickly being able to find your ball will speed up your game and you'll save money if you're not constantly losing balls. Additionally, I'd point out that this would be good for senior players who can't always locate their golf balls. Price: $270

The new restaurant  from Simon, who opened Simon Kitchen Bar in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, will feature a large outdoor patio with a separate entrance. Additionally, Rande Gerber will open a Stone Rose Lounge (pictured here) in the hotel. There'll also be a luxurious 5,000 square foot full-service spa. Prices for rooms at Sofitel range from $295-$650 a night.

She will create a spring/summer line (a Jarmon jacket, available at Amazon.com for $300 is pictured here) for Target,  following the departure of London-based fashion designer Luella Bartley, a former editor at Vogue and a favored designer of Kate Moss, who is currently showing 80s-inspired, punk looks at the store. Much of Luella's collection sold out at the online store, but who knows how Tara, whose line hits Target in 11 days, will be received? Nevertheless, it's fun to see these designer head to the discount racks.

The web site also has pictures of the Queen's visit to the Launder factory in 1991. The bags, which are made of calf leather, and lined with suede, aren't inexpensive, with the more pricey ones costing upwards of $1,000.

Thankfully, some designers are introducing tasteful gazebos, like this Tepraco Malibu Gazebo, available at Patiolife.com.  Made of aluminum, this gazebo is weatherproof, meaning owners don't have to disassemble the thing during the winter (the web site suggests removing the canvas covering). Additionally, the web site notes that this model of gazebo is "perhaps more at home in California and New Mexico than besides an old Victorian Queen Anne." And I have to agree with that assessment. Price: $3,295

Los Angeles-based jewelry designer Julie Burton uses glass in all of of her designs to create original pieces, and her rings are my favorite--they come in dozens of different colors and can be stacked on top of one another. This one pictured here comes in either sterling ($77) or 14K gold ($155).  Burton's company is called Verre New York, and her jewelry can be found in stores across the country, like Nest in San Francisco and The Clay Pot in Brooklyn.

Duquette, who decorated homes for J. Paul Getty and the Duchess of Windsor, died in 1999; the line of one-of-a-kind Duquette pieces is actually created by Hutton Wilkinson, his business partner. This necklace is available exclusively at New York's Bergdorf Goodman for a whopping $227,675.

According to the site, the scooter can charge its batteries from the gasoline motor, while the electrical battery can be charged via a standard European plug outlet. The combination of the gas and electricity reduces gasoline consumption by up to 20 percent. Plus, via the hybrid feature, the bike can operate in the electric-only mode in such areas such as tunnels, where fumes would be bothersome. But mere mortals can also get Courtney's designs, and her new spring line includes these stackable diamond rings. The rings come in gold and platinum; prices range from $600-$4,800. According to her web site, the Dallas native got her start in jewelry back in 1984 by applying Swarovski crystals to bandanas, sunglasses and watches. I'd say she's come quite a long way since those early days.

The wallets, which come in leather or cork, measure about 7'' by 4'', so they're small enough to fit in the back pocket of your jeans, but large enough to hold credit cards and cash. Inside, the wallets are lined with interesting materials (prints with skulls or flowers, for instance), while Tanner also makes bags, wristbands and t-shirts. You can find a list of stores that sell Tanner's stuff on her web site; Sirens & Sailors in Los Angeles and Cog & Pearl in Brooklyn both stock her goods. The shimmery gold wallet pictured here is $65.

It seats two, can go up to depths of 450 feet, and has a 5-6 hour battery life. Sadly, there are no accompanying torpedoes. Online, absentee bidding ends April 13. Starting bid is $13,000.

According to the company's web site, there's also a storage compartment beneath the backrest. Price: $1,599.

No idea who designed these fabulous brass and coral earrings--dubbed Little Havana Links--but who cares? Price: $78.

Felsen opened a new store (designed by Koning Eizenberg & Associates, the same architects who did the Standard hotel) on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles last fall, while her pieces can also be ordered off her web site. The locket comes in either yellow or white gold. The version shown here has a .48 carat amethyst in the center of the one-inch pendant with a border of pave set rubies. It sells for $4800 and would be a wonderful Mother's Day gift.

Only fashion insiders know about Shareen Downtown, which stocks amazing vintage: shoes and boots, dresses, tops, skirts, jewelry, handbags, and belts. And all for ridiculously cheap. Because the store (really, it's a warehouse)  is only open one day a week (for now, Saturdays), and the location is impossible to find, the masses have yet to discover the place.  As any Shareen devotee will tell you: "If you find the place, don't tell anyone else!"

The upstairs dining room is now open at Country, New York chef Geoffrey Zakarian's new upscale eatery at 90 Madison. New York  magazine dishes on Country, the counterpart to Zakarian's first restaurant, Town, giving it a thumbs up for the halibut with arugula, white wine and clams, but a thumbs down for the service, which reviewer Adam Platt notes comes with all the "exaggerated pomp and ceremony you'd expect at a grand European hotel."  Upstairs, the prix fixe menu is $85, while entrees cost $17-$26 in the downstairs cafe.
