If you prefer private vacations alone with your family in a beachside villa, but miss the amenities and luxuries of
a four-star hotel then we have found the answer for you. The Four Seasons Hualalai is a gorgeous three bedroom, three
bath spread literally sitting on the water. The villa's interior was designed by a reknowned interior designer
with furniture brought in from Europe and Asia. While staying at the villa you will still be able to enjoy the
wonderful pools, golf course, spa and other amenaties the main resort offers. Your villa comes fully equiped with
a 42'' plasma, cable, DVD player, high speed internet and your personal golf cart. But, the number one selling point to
me is the private outdoor shower that offers 180 degree views and the skyline of the island of Maui. What more
can one ask for?

Tito's Tacos is packed every night, but anyone who's eaten there will tell you it's worth the wait. For an LA
eatery, this place is shockingly cheap (3 dollars will fill you up.) But don't think because its cheap and fast
that this is no better than Taco Bell. All the tacos, tamales, tostadas, and burritos are made fresh and from
scratch and regulars recommend you know what you want before you step up to order because this place moves fast.
With a surprisingly spacious and comfortable dining room, find a place amongst the celebs, executivies, and
neighborhood mall rats and enjoy!

More like a piece of art than a cigar holder, the $15,000 Laura Chavin Humid'or is sure to keep your cigars
preserved and looking good at the same time. This precision instrument monitors and regulates moisture in the top
and bottom chambers, adjusting conditions as needed. Inside the cabinet is a combination of wood, steel, and
translucent arcylic as well as a microchip that records the humidity and temperature every half-hour. The
designer opted to use battery as he felt an extension cord would be unsightly. Also check out the company's
leather portable cases that start at $625. The larger size humidor holds up to 300 cigars.

Ok, ok, so maybe everyone shouldn't be a fashion designer and if you've come to this conclusion then you might as
well leave it to people who know what they're doing. Take Band of Outsiders, a hot, young company, that has
revitalized men's dress clothes by going backwards in time. With vintage, skinny ties, varsity v-neck sweaters,
and washed Oxford cloth shirts, BOT is sure to spruce up your wardrobe. Slim-fitting dress shirts and handmade
silk ties are constructed from vintage fabrics from the 1930s. Described as an "old school preppy," check them
out at Barneys and other fine retailers across the country.

Michael's Frozen Custard in Wisconsin has been delivering perfect summer heat treats for the past twenty years. Made
from a secret recipe, Michael's custard is richer, creamier, and more flavorful than typical ice cream caused primarily
by using a lot less air. Another difference, custard is served at 20 degrees unlike packed ice cream which is 10
degrees below zero. Whatever the differnce, we at Luxist would eat Michael's Fresh Custard for every meal,
ecspecially since each day is a different flavor. Such varieties include Choc Pecan Truffle, Caramel Cashew, French
Silk, Blueberries 'n Cream, Truffleberry, Bavarian Thin Mint, and many others. MFC is available through delivery or at
Whole Foods and other grovery stores.

Well, after posting about Mario Batali a few days back, I just couldn't get him off my
mind. So, from the award-winning chef himself, here are his top three restaurants in New York City in his own
words.

Blue Ribbon - "A classic chef's hangout for their great raw bar, their turkey burger
with cheese, and some of the great Rhones on the wine list."

Mesa Grill - "I love Mesa Grill, especially for their lunch on Tuesdays. I take my
three-year-old son, Leo, who proclaims that it's his favorite place in town .... [Bobby Flay's] food is exactly what I
feel like eating."

Ouest - "I have been a big fan of Tom Valenti for 10 years, and his new place is
pitch-perfect. There is nothing on his menu that does not merit a rave."

Imagine a dream where you can hop around New York City's finest stores without leaving your chair.
Refinery29 - an online, flash-based shopping mall - is making this dream a
semi-reality. The web site, which was launched only a few weeks ago, is dedicated to highlighting the best stores
in NYC. Look at the map as a whole or choose specific searches such as casual or dress clothes. Each store
displays a small write-up, pictures, and reciept-like sidebar displaying the pertinent info, brands, and style in the
store. The site also includes regular featured products dubbed "editor's daily picked" as well as a guide
specific to your burrough and neighborhood and some good ole' fashion schooling.

Bestselling author Steve Gaines's new book probes the secretive world of Manhattan luxury apartments. Gaines
focuses on the outlandish displays of ego, status, and behavior as well as the secrets behind NYC's apartment
swapping. In The Sky's the Limit, Gaines follows carriage-trade brokers trying to get past the
dreaded co-op board. If you live in New York or are interested in the real estate game, then this is a great
insider's look. Also has great information that will help you how to (if you can, according to Gaines) snag that
Upper East side penthouse you've been dreaming of or getting a decent place for $200 grand without turning over your
life history to the board.

I love cereal. So when I heard about the new chain of cereal-only restaurants opening in my neck of the woods, you
can correctly assume I was quite ecstatic. Cereality is a cereal experience unlike any other. You walk in and are
greeted by pajama-clad servers offering over 20 different types of cereal as well as a range of toppings including
malted milk balls, fruits, nuts, and M & M's. Customers can choose from fresh-baked cereal bars and snack
mixes, cereal smoothies, and custom-made parfaits. Once you've chosen your two scoops of cereal, hot or cold, you
are served your cereal in a bowl that looks like chinese take out. Cereality currently has locations in Chicago
and Arizona, look for more coming soon.

perfect innercity gem that has been making paninis before the word was popular. Let's just say husband-wife
owners, better known as partners with Mario Batali at Lupa, have some good experience dealing with authentic
Italian food. The place is open late, not too expensive, and has great food. The menu inicludes
panini, bruschetta, and tramezzini as well as cured meats, cheeses and olives that have all been imported from
Italy. With a small number of tables, get in line and grab a tall glass of wine because 'ino is well worth

Newly renovated Hacienda Xcanatun is closer to a museum then a hotel. Featuring antiques, original oil paintings,
and a hand-carved coral stone tub, it's no wonder the hotel was recently named 2005 AAA Four Diamond award winner by
Conde Nast. Just outside the colonial city of Merida and a short flight to Cancun, the nine-acre estate showcases
the beautiful and historic city and landscape. The area around the Merida is sprawling with lush agriculture and
ecological delights, such as the Celestuun Flamingo Reserve where guests in flat-bottom boats navigate past dozens of
species of birds. Check out a limited package of six nights for $2000.

Touted as being the next Gap, American Apparel is
slowly taking over as king of mass apparel. With a thriving wholesale business as well as retail, AA is opening
new stores at a rapid pace. The company, with its sweatshop free policy, creates and sells high-quality garments
in every shape and color. Want a soft, vintage t-shirt? No prob. That goes for just about everything
else ranging from underwear, hats, bags, sweatshirts, and sweatpants. While the US production increases the
price, it is worth it for that perfect fitting t-shirt.

While you've probably seen (and been annoyed) by Audi's new clever ad campaign, don't let it deter you from checking
out the new 2006 A3. With 200 horsepower, the A3 coupe drives well and is great looking inside and out. Imagine
an SUV that drives like a coupe, this Audi features a turbo-charged 2.0 liter engine and goes 0-60 in under 7
seconds. Perfect car for making the trip to the Hamptons. Very sophisticated and sporty, starts at
$25,460.

Malin and Goetz is another New York based apothecary, but more modern. With their minimalist packaging and
down-to-earth philosophy, M & G offers a high-quality line of face washes, body cleansers, shampoos, sunscreens and
moisturizers. The company also just introduced two fragrances, musk and lime tonic, that are meant to be worn
together or separate depending on what you are going for. The company has a stand-alone store on Seventh Ave and
is carried accross the country. Great stuff, but definitely on the expensive side.

Sick of mowing your lawn or paying someone to mow your lawn? Check out the newest, most advanced robotic lawn
mower to hit the market since, well, ever!. The robot senses how long the grass is and efficiently mows that
certain area to level it out. When the mower senses long grass it automatically enters spiral mode and mows down
the grass in that immediate area before returning to its search for more. The $1000 machine uses lithium
batteries, a silent motor, can cover 33,000 sq/ft, and most importantly, guarantees that you never have to do it
yourself again.

The Poggipolini NCR 1000NE is a Ferrari packed into a bike. Weighing
in at just 112 kilograms, it has a 1:1 power-to-weight ratio. The bike's double ignition Ducati DS series engine
is refined by the Poggipolini engineers to an output of 105 horsepower on a titanium and carbon fiber frame. The bike
also includes Formula 1 style clutch pedals as well as Brembo brakes and brake rotors. After much success in
racing, the company is only producing 30 of the Aldo Drude-designed bike which already has a long waiting list.

now a much more common endulgence thanks to Norma's in New
York. The first of its kind in the city, Norma's restaurant offers creative breakfast cuisine throughout the

of Bagel with Caper Berries, or Omelette of Cape Cold Lobster. Norma's also includes 15 griddle selections such as

Relaxed and refined are the true attractions of this Caribbean beachfront resort. Duplexes and quadraplex cottages
are hidden amongst the islands palm trees and reef-protected beech at the Little
Dix Bay Hotel. This tiny island on the Virgin Gorda has 98 scattered rooms on and off the beach, offering true
tranquility in a very prestine setting. While on the more expensive side (and stuffy side according to reviewers), you
get what you pay for with this oasis. Guests are greeted with a complimentary bottle of rum
- best imbibed on your room's private terrace, overlooking the calm bay.Three restaurants, all with open-air views of
the enclosed bay, offer everything from steak to lobster, and include live music.

Earnest Sewn, the popular brand by the former designer from Paper Denim jeans, has opened a custom jean shop on
Washington Street in New York's Meatpacking district. Customers can choose from an array of options including
fit, stiching, wash, and length and then wait patiently at the store's cafe for the jeans to be custom made (which I'm
told takes an hour on a good day.) A pair of customized jeans costs $170-$200 and there is currently a two-week
waiting list.

Every summer, there begins a renewed battle with the always-present, ever-annoying mosquito. Thanks to the new
Mega-Catch Ultra Mosquito Trap, also called "the ultimate mosquito
catching device," you can kill up to 10,000 mosquitos a night over a range of 1.5 acres. While not exactly the
best-looking or most discrete (it has an attached CO2 container and is affixed to a trolley), it certainly gets the job
done using a programmable timer and a low voltage extension cord. Now you can take back the summer for only $500
for the trap and an additional $145 for the trolley.

Come aboard this exclusive golf community like no place you've ever

just introduced a special golf program for its golfing guests. The program includes stops at some of the most
famous and expensive golf courses in the world, such as St. Andrews and the Royal Mougins in France. While on the
water, golfers can work on their short games on the ship's vast sports deck with putting and chipping
greens or practice their their woods hitting environmentally-friendly golf balls into the waters. The ship offers
a five-day golf fitness and spa program in which guests get one-on-one consultations
with golf instructors, spa therapists, and trainers. After the sessions, golfers can relax with hydrotherapy
treatments, sports massages, fango mud wraps, and Vichy showers. Rates range from $1,000 to $3,300 per night for two
guests or you can purchase a permanent residency.
