Designers go a little crazy sometimes creating handbags with outrageous features or price tags, all in the name of style, exclusivity, and pushing the boundaries of fashion. From clutches covered in diamonds to exotic skins dipped in 24-karat gold and even purses meant to look like garbage bags, we've seen it all.

Although it's hard to imagine actually carrying some of these handbags (for example what shoes to wear with a cage clutch that resembles a small metal lobster trap?), it's easy to appreciate the unique beauty and creativity involved in these little works of art. Totally ridiculous and sinful if anyone buys these handbags. In this economy there are people just trying to feed their families , it's an insult to most of us put such on high priced bags that cost almost nothing to make plus the fact the workers sewing these bags make a mere two dollars a day . Makes me sick.

If I were a woman and spent that much for something so ridiculous I'd be afraid of going to Hell for being so selfish. When that money could have gone to feeding hungry children, etc...

Same goes for the designers who peddle this crap. Make something for $20 cost of materials then sell it to some fool for thousands of dollars??!! Why not take some of those obscene profits and give 90% of it to charity and do the world some good, instead of build another beach house in the Hamptons.

Okay, these range from the ridiculous to the stupid to the downright UGLY. The craziness of the designers is only surpassed by insanity of anyone who would pay these absurd amounts for a THING to put your STUFF in. A sad commentary about some people's value systems.

Fairviewac (hope that's right, it isn't clear on my screen) has the right idea. If the designers can b.s. someone who to purchasing a bag at such a crazy price, they should give most of the profit to charity.

In this economy, only a fool would spend that kind of money for a purse that can be only used once in a while. I guess that maybe Donald Trump would get something like these for his wife because they are such show offs.
Use the money these cost to buy food for the poor not an overpriced extravagant purse....
