LeBron James Is New Audemars Piguet Watch Ambassador

Audemars Piguet is one of the most popular luxury watch brands with US Athletes (as well as international athletes of course), and has done an admirable job of receiving a high level of awareness in the US. The relationship with LeBron will further that mission, especially given LeBron's popularity both on and off the court. Moving ahead a year or two the world will see a specially designed LeBron James Audemars Piguet timepiece. Likely a limited edition, and very likely part of the Royal Oak Offshore collection, the watch will come out in probably 2013. LeBron's new relationship with Audemars Piguet was announced in Miami yesterday - where he plays for the Miami Heat team.

Yea... I want to wear a watch endorsed by a man who walked away from his hometown. The town he promised to bring a World Championship to after years of heartbreak for that town which he promised he would not rest until he "brought a Championship to Cleveland".
I'm not from Cleveland.
But his whole BRAND is cheap.
This might be a great watch... but I wouldn't want anything associated with this guy.
Do yourself a favor, and before you even consider this watch, ask someone else if LeBron James makes it more attractive?
If his legacy won't make you think twice.
I don't hate the guy, but until he gets a ring, he shouldn't endorse anything.
Saying this is a LeBron watch means nothing until he wins "7 8 9 Championships" like he promised/lied to Miami fans as well.
His brand is almost dead so buy the watch for it's possible value, not who's pimping it.
The King without a ring.. but YOU can buy the watch !
