Diamond 44 by Lamborghini Yacht Designer Mauro Lecchi for Sale

My colleague Noah Joseph recently reported on the Lamborghini yacht concept from Italy's Mauro Lecchi and exotic auto tuner Fenice Milano. Now the design duo have listed another luxe creation, the Diamond 44 superyacht, for sale via global online luxury marketplace JamesList for about $1.4 million.

The sleek 46-ft. craft, built by the T.I.C. Italian Style shipyard, is constructed from an innovative, high-tech mix of RINA certified wood, fiberglass, Kevlar, carbon fiber, epoxy resin and few other materials more commonly found in the aerospace industry.

The Diamond 44's interior dispenses with the usual confines of yacht design for an open-plan scheme that makes it feel like a much larger yacht, with adaptable furnishings to suit the occasion. Fenice Milano employs the same techniques used on their souped-up version of the Rolls-Royce Ghost and other over-the-top vehicles to outfit the sleek ship, equipped with 8 berths. Because of the lightweight construction, the twin Volvo Penta IPS engines rated at 870 hp apiece are able to propel the yacht at an impressive max speed of 41 knots and cruising speed of 37 knots.

I like the design of Lamborghini Yacht. Its production was limited to 20 models and it was sold out before the cars were even made.
