B. Makowsky Ollie Collection, Handbags of the Day

Denim is common, leather is common, but denim-look leather? Not so common. B. Makowsky has featured the uniquely-textured look prominently in his spring 2011 Ollie collection as seen in the crossbody and hobo styles shown here. Features consistent throughout the collection are silver hardware including stud embellishments, large leather zipper pulls, and bold leopard print interior linings. The bags also feature lots of pockets on both the outside and inside for convenient stashing of all your goodies. My personal favorite is the crossbody, which also comes in silver denim-textured leather and sells for $128.
