Russian Billionaire Andrey Melnichenko Buys $12 Million Central Park Pad

Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko, owner of the eye-popping $300 million megayacht 'A' (above) designed by Philippe Starck, has splashed out $12.2 million on a penthouse pied-à-terre in Central Park. It's the first New York property for Melnichenko, at 38 one of the world's youngest billionaires, and his model wife Aleksandra, the Wall St. Journal reports, added to a real estate portfolio that includes apartments and estates in Moscow, France and the U.K. The 2,800-sq.-ft., two-bedroom duplex has two balconies, a terrace facing Central Park, and an entrance gallery with 24-foot ceilings. As we reported back in January Melnichenko, who amassed a $4.4 billion fortune in fertilizer and banking, entertained Martha Stewart, Demi Moore and Aston Kutcher on his yacht in St. Barth's over New Year's during Roman Abramovich's bash.

The word 'SHIT' comes from when manure was transported by ship. Manure can become combustible and if it was stored in the hold below deck on the ship, especially near machinery, it could ignite and explode. The letters S H I T were stenciled on manure crates meaning STACK HIGH IN TRANSIT i.e. on deck away from machinery, to avoid exploding manure and fire.

You know youll tell someone this today after reading it!

Tell Us more about how he obtained control of these once former government owned, Then after the break up of the Soviet union . public owned by the people Companies. Tell us about how the people of Russia didn't know the true value of the shares of stock they were given in theses companies was broken up...... and then had to trade them to these people in order to survive for a loaf of Bread, or traded them in exchange for a free ride in the USA or Israel (compliments of the avg middle class tax payer) in exchange for giving up their shares. Where did the outside money come from for these tycoons to purchase control of these Companies and therefore stick the USA with bill for supporting thier refugees in the US. OH and while your at it why do these tycoons need 7 yachts and all these houses? Nobody needs all those things unless your fronting for a consortium of People. Tell us more ??

The middle class American tax payer contributes less than 20 percent to tax base revenue. Industry pays for your roads, schools, government, military, ect...Oh the poor middle class, they do it all dont they? Eat fast food, watch Jersey Shore, raise children they expect the system to make into worthwhile members of society, and still have time to act entitled and put upon at the same exact time. The poor dears, shouldering low standards in education, culture, aptitude and even manners while expecting the world to revolve around the tiniest of their tiny efforts.
I would type more but I am overwhelmed with canned sentiment from a poorly written soundtrack from one of the popular middle class tv shows of absolutely no substance and sophmoric intellect. I cry for the middle class American, I honestly do.

who cares?!?! he's got more money than good sense. Here we are, barely getting by, and we get to read how another millionaire bought another yacht. I've always heard " If you got it, flaunt it" but this is vulgar. I'd be willing to bet he isn't happy, unless someone is drooling after him.

What bothers me is that we will sell our real estate to any foreighner with money, then we wonder why our country is being sold right out from under our feet. Americans lose homes, jobs and families because of this economy, but this @#$%% can buy a penthouse in NYC.
