Fortis B-47 Big Black Watch

Fortis refers to this watch as the "Big Black, Big Day, Big Date" watch. It is big, but not crazy big at 47mm wide in a black PVD coated case with a menacing looking rotating dive-style bezel. The dial is mostly made up of a view of the Swiss ETA 2836 automatic day/date movement. There is a semi-opaque dial over the discs that offer both English and German text. The nice looking hands are outlined in white and skeletonized so as to not cover up too much of the dial. While the lume is black, there is SuperLumiNova on the applied hour markers.
The watch has an AR coated sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 200 meters. Attached to the case is a black rubber strap. Fortis will offers the B-47 Big Black as a limited edition of 2,012 pieces, leading up to the brand's 100th Anniversary in 2012.
