Esquire Home Collection Launches At ABC Carpet & Home

Esquire Home, a furniture collection that shares the same modern gentlemanly style as the men's magazine, now has a new shop at New York City's decor emporium, ABC Carpet & Home. A new ABC Coop Shop is offering a tailored masculine aesthetic created in collaboration with designer Timothy Oulton. The collection evokes a style that is streamlined and devoid of frippery with distressed leathers and neutral twills and tweeds.
Although common wisdom generally has women in the roles of outfitting the domicile, Glen Ellen Brown, vice president, Hearst Brand Development says that "men are taking a leadership role in the purpose and design of their space." And like some menswear, it doesn't seem that this furniture should be designated for a single gender. The line includes leather sofas, bars, office furniture and trunks with simple urbane flair. Pieces are named after cocktails providing a fun way of ordering. Trunks start at $995, sofas start at $3,295, barstools and chairs start at $985 and $1,195 respectively, and ottomans start at $1,650. Check out the collection online at the Esquire Home Collection website.
