Classic Car Club Of Manhattan To Open A Second New York Branch
It could well be taken as a sign that luxury is back (well, we say it never left) as the Classic Car Club of Manhattan opens a new location, taking over a turn-of-the-century carriage house on East 73rd Street in Manhattan. We first mentioned the club way back in 2005 when it opened its first location, shown above, handing over the keys to a fleet of vintage and modern classic automobiles to members.
This will be Classic Car Club's second location in New York and the seventh international location. It has garages in SoHo, London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Copenhagen and Lithuania. Memberships for the new club start at $8,000 a year and the new location makes room for approximately 120 additional members in the New York area who would like to get their hands on the fleet of more than 45 cars including Ferraris, Lamborghinis and classic American muscle cars. Michael Prichinello, co-founder of the club told the NY Times that the new location was chosen because it's in the right area, offering easy access in and out of town.
Membership privileges include full insurance coverage, 24-hour access to the members lounge and participation in plenty of fun events such as rallies and other non-car-related luxuries including whisky tastings.
