The Hansar Bangkok Adds 94 Suites to The Land of Smile

The all-suite Hansar Bangkok promotes itself as "a return to bespoke luxury," and if there's anything that might get us to believe them it's that the above is a picture of the bathroom in the Vertigo Suite. Also, the Hansar is not new to how luxury should be done in Thailand: it opened the Hansar Samui just last June, in Bophut Bay.
The glass and chrome Hansar Bangkok is on Rajdamri Road, surrounded by a great many expensive things and the Royal Bangkok Sports Club. Each of the 94 suites - from 646 square feet in the Studios to 1,346 sq. ft. in the two-story Lofts - is equipped with king-sized beds with hand-beaded headboards, rainshowers, freestanding terrazzo bathtubs and every necessary electronic accoutrement. The interior touches haven't been left alone, either: plush carpet and warm wood are softened by walls panelled in Jim Thompson silks.
Dining is attended to at Shine, for breakfast Zest, for juice, Café Boca for in-between snacks, Eve for French-inspired suppers. And the afterparty happens at Vue. A Luxsa spa here joins its mate at the Hansar Samui, or when your relaxing is best done with your peers, try The Landing which has both business facilities and a lounge. Get a deal done and you can reward yourself on the Sky Terrace - there can't be any better place to learn how to say "The world is mine," in Thai...
