Watch brand MARCH LA.B's designer is deeply influenced by, in addtion to other things, 1800's era Napoleaonic France. For this limited edition collection, MARCH LA.B looks to the "Hussards." The 4th Hussard regiment was one of Napolean's most iconic group of men. Known for their character, way with women, and fighting abilities as much as their uniforms, these were the original "tough guys" of that era. As light calvary men, they would storm into areas early with bright colored red and blue outfits armed with guns and swords. Not wanting the exploits of the 4th Hussard to be forgotten, MARCH LA.B now offers this limited edition version of their JC1 watch in a set of 100 pieces.

The 40mm wide steel watch comes specially done in black and rose gold PVD, with a blue center disc for the alarm hand, and the 4th Hussard logo on the dial. There is more red (in the form of alcantara leather) on the back of the strap, and the special case the watch comes in is done in a red velvet style. MARCH LA.B does excellent watch packaging, and this limited edition will take that attention to detail even further.

The easy-to-read dial is fitted with large applied hour markes and good looking hands. Inside the watch is a Swiss quartz alarm movement. Though the alarm is not very loud. A good looking watch, it certainly recalls an interesting set of people, doing interesting this, during an interesting point in our history. Price for the MARCH LA.B JC1 4th Hussard limited edition watch is $1,195.
