Alexis Stewart Drops The Price Of Her TriBeCa Duplex
Radio host and Martha Stewart's daughter Alexis Stewart is another celebrity slow seller. She's been trying to sell her duplex loft at 27 North Moore Street on and off since 2007 and we've seen prices as high as $12.95 million. Curbed NY reports that the home is now down below the $10 million mark. It is listed at $9.5 million. There's a lot to love about this home. It has almost 4,000 square feet of interior space and also has an outdoor terrace. The large bright and white living room has a solarium celing. The kitchen includes two SubZero refrigerators and two dishwashers for Martha-Stewart-style entertaining. The three-bedroom home also has grey terrazzo floors, custom-designed wood shelving and integrated built-ins.

This duplex looks like a clinic or hospital! It's completely devoid of any individual taste. All white, cold and doesn't look like it's worth half of what she's asking even at this point.
My advice to her would be add two additional colors in the decor. Red and black or even some animal prints and or metallic items. Anything to define it.

You are very right. There's no warmth. It looks and feel "icy cold."

If she's been in that place since she got married, I remember reading about how the very tiles in the bathroom were perfectly measured so that in the converging corner no tiles would have to be cut. They were small, grey tiles. That's what it looks to be. But she's pretty anal and has been like that since she was a kid. Oh well. Maybe some wealthy futures-trader and his coked-out girlfriend can pick up the payments.

I like the idea of being able to just relax and enjoy a simple atmosphere but not at this price tag. That is a little too steep for my taste. Save your money live affordable with these tips http://bit.ly/savingtips

Has the charm of an operating room. No character in this home at all.

Years ago this penthouse was featured in Martha Stewart Living. I loved it then and I love it now. The space, the light, the perfection in details all channel sparse calm.

It looks like a lobby to a hospital. I couldn't see myself living in a place that makes you feel like a doctor will be coming around to see you shortly.

Who's her decorator ? Artic Interiors Inc?
Only thing warm are the clothes in the closet.
hallmailcall Jan 25th 2011 10:56AM
Could use Martha's touch to warm up the place.

These days-with so many loosing their homes--I would keep this under wraps. Most don't care if she has to drop the price. Gosh, what a worry--only 9million? What will she do?

Nasty! Views are crappy as well. This is why I'll never live in NYC. 2-3 days at time is more than enough.

I was wondering just how many children of convicts does AOL provide this service too? And Millions to live in a freezer, both inside and out? No thanks, my little place in Southern CA is a fraction of that, but I'm warm! To tell you the truth, my walls are warmer too! Good Luck Convict!
