My wife and I stayed in Kapalua over the summer and played 18 holes at the Plantation course. Its a beautiful area and nicely situated on the North side of Maui where its quieter and more rainy (thus more lush). As we were golfing we wondered about the homes along the course and the pricing. This seems cheap, but when you see the interior you understand why its a slow mover. The basics are all included, but its in need of a serious re-do of the interior.

Nice area. Maui is the island we loved best. I would redo the interior as it seems a bit random. No huge reno needed just some minor stuff. Nice choice in colors but things here and there and it doesn't seem to present well. Perhaps a stager would be a good idea. This home is beautiful. No doubt about it and the view, well.....it's Maui, need I say more? lol

I purchased a home in that area over 5 years ago for $2.5 million dollars and sold it for $5 million dollars on 12/12/10. Great area

Is this Kelsey Grammar's extra Kapalua home? I'm being serious. His divorce may be causing the fire sale. Or did he sell that house a few years back. That plantation course is a tough one. Don't play it in the off season (or when they've sanded the greens) - you'll have wasted your money. The least fun and least "fair" golf course I've ever played. Great views though.
