TaylorMade's New R11 Customizable Golf Driver

These days golf can be as much about the right tools as it is about natural ability. TaylorMade Golf's yet-to-be released R11 driver is a new product that uses technology to make the most of your swing. It offers many of the charms of a custom club but puts the control in your hands. The R11 driver can be adjusted in three different ways in an effort to affect 100 yards of side-to-side trajectory change. It comes with a small wrench that lets you basically make your own custom-fitted club. The new adjustable sole plate lets you adjust the face angle, you can also change the loft and the trajectory. The top of the driver is white to help reduce the glare of the sun and to make it easier for the players to align with the contrast of the black face versus the white top.
The R11 was designed with significant feedback from tour players. Availability begins on February 4, 2010 at a street price of $399. Check out the video after the jump to hear more about what this new club can do.
