Jersey Shore's Snooki Starts Jewelry Line

'Created pink sapphires' don't usually fall under the Luxist purview but I couldn't help but check out the first jewelry offering from "Jersey Shore" star Snooki. Pint-sized Nicole Polizzi has become a cultural phenomenon even finding herself name checked by the president in 2010.

DiamondShark.com has partnered with Snooki to create the Snooki Party Ball 2011 Limited Edition Pendant. The necklace is identical to the necklace that Snooki wore on New Year's Eve when she rode inside a giant New Year's Eve ball in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. It features a carat's worth of created pink sapphires set in a ball pendant made from polished and rhodium-plated sterling silver on an 18" chain. The guidette-centric copy on DiamondShark says that the pendant comes with a commemorative photo and certificate of authenticity (nothing like inauthentic fake sapphires). It sells for the "smush-tacular low price of just $49." The video ad is after the jump.
