A Red Carpet Makeover Experience
Ever wish you could look as fabulous as those Hollywood stars walking down the red carpet in their stunning gowns, hair perfectly coiffed, decked out in expensive bling? Just in time for the upcoming awards season -- not to mention trying to buy a gift for someone who lacks nothing -- The Peninsula Beverly Hills has launched a promotion called "The Red Carpet-Ready Experience" for its guests.
It starts in the privacy of your hotel room or suite with a professional stylist to do your hair and makeup. Women guests may borrow jewelry items from the hotel's exclusive Henri J. Sillam boutique to accessorize their gowns. Guests are then photographed by Hollywood pro Ryan Forbes, whose work has been featured in Town & Country, Conde Nast Traveler and Elle Decor. The setting choices include poses in the Peninsula Beverly Hills' finely appointed living room, roof garden, and stepping out of the hotel's Rolls Royce. Guests may also pose in front of the hotels' step-and-repeat banner -- a backdrop like those found at Hollywood movie premieres and awards events. Guests are provided with a selection of proofs from which to pick the perfect portrait. The package is $950 and includes two 8 x 10 color portraits.
