New BMW 1Series M Coupe for 2012 Model Year
BMW will officially unveil the 2012 1 Series M Coupe at next month's Detroit Auto Show. But it showed the new vehicle today in all its glory to the Internet.You can see the video of the M1 here.
BMW has released video of the production-ready M1. Its bulgy, brash aggressive front end and wider stance certainly give it the look of an M3 Junior. When details are released, we are expecting about 340 horsepower and a typically great six-speed manual transmission from BMW.

To be clear, this is a 1 Series M, not an M1, which is very a significant distinction in terms of performance and history. They're not to be confused.
