This would be such a help to my relationship to be able to see my fiancé's face when we talk. I'm a 3rd year medical student here in the states and she lives in the caribbean so as you can imagine we both spend half of our incomes on phone bills and not being able to see the other one for so long puts added and unnecessary tension between us.

I would let my young children see their grandparents who live thousands of miles away.

I want one for me, my mother, my sister and her family and my grandmother. My grandmother lives in a different state from the rest of us, and she's never seen my sister's youngest child, which is a shame.

Wow that is fantastic!

Sharing with my mom who's been through double bunion surgery! Would love to hang out together while she recovers over the coming months. She's also the house where many family members stop by and would be great to be part of those gatherings.

Haven't seen these units up close or in a demo, but I have heard goof things about them. Would be fun to try them out.

I have four sisters, but one is constantly moving. She has two boys who have yet to see the family. Since our mother passed it has been difficult to bring the family together in one location. This will allow us to feel like a complete family regardless of distance.

If I had the opportunity to own the Cisco Umi Telepresence, I would be able to communicate with my family who still resides in my home state of New York. It’s been extremely difficult to stay connected since my current residence is in South Carolina and I rarely have the chance to visit. This product would really be a blessing !!! Happy Holidays to all ...

This would be great for my sister and I. We are 1800 miles apart, and she has 3 children under the age of 7. We don't get to "see" each other in person often (it's been a couple years), and her laptop just died, so Skype isn't an option any more. Nieces just grow up way to quickly!
Jake Dec 6th 2010 12:19PM
This would be great for keeping in touch with my friends overseas!

My 2 yo son's grandparents, aunts, and uncles all live in New York while we live in California. Umi would be great for us all to see and hear each other.
