Harrison Ford Lists His NYC Apartment
It looks like Harrison Ford is moving on. Curbed NY reports that Ford's 5,500-square-foot penthouse loft at 206 West 17th Street has hit the market for $16 million. The building was converted by developer Cary Tamarkin into 11 raw full-floor lofts. Ford bought this home near the start of 2002 for around $5.3 million. Ford and his wife Calista Flockhart own residences in Los Angeles and Wyoming.The listing says that the penthouse has a keyed elevator that brings you into a vestibule. The apartment has anigre wood and poured concrete radiant heated floors and four exposures offer beautiful views. The living room/dining room has a wood burning fire place and a kitchen with stainless steel, custom anigre wood cabinetry and soapstone countertops. There is a dining area and a den flowing off of the kitchen. The master bedroom suite has a dressing room and bath. There is also a library/bedroom, three additional bedrooms, a home office, a home gym, 4.5 baths and laundry room complete this level. Up above there is a private roof terrace which is approximately 2,330 square feet and offers amazing views of Manhattan, the Hudson River and beyond.

You know, I usually like sparse modern decor but I didn't like this. Just looks cheap to me and the price tag is anything but.
I also realized how much I miss the twin towers in the views. Sad. RIP fellow Americans.

Most of the furniture looked like it escaped from the schools I attended when I was young. Sparse shouldn't mean cheap and antiseptic looking. Nice views are probably why it costs so much.

Hey everyone....the loft is staged. This is not Harrison's stuff anylonger decorating this loft, we wont ever know what his loft looked like when he lived there, pictures, furniture???. He moved out they moved furniture in for listing purposes. What do you think Hollywood moguls leave their smoking jacket on a chair in the library for on lookers?
