Way more than a weekend retreat. It's what the nicest homes up here in the Pac NW look like. Woodsy, gorgeous and full of campy details like the skylight above the tub which is backed up against a great view of the Pacific and other islands. The woodstove in the bathroom is a terrific idea! Toasty warm while undressed is always welcome. The deck cut out for the giant boulders is also nice. Just loved it all.
As for the double posting of pics, sheesh, it was a tiny error and NO big deal. These posts on Luxist are so well done I fail to see what we could ever complain about. I enjoy them all. Let's compliment them once in a while instead.

Tarek told me his house was on the market. I had to see. His taste is nothing like I imagined. I have the same reclining chair in my living room with the serving tray. I figured his home would glisten with marble and brass. Surprised to see he had the bare essentials. He seems into aztec. He likes mobiles. Wonder what the masks represent in the bedroom? I really like his eat in kitchen. I used to hang my brass pots like that because I liked the heart to heart kitchen and wanted my kitchen like that. I like the shape of the front windows. His house is cozy. He looks like a hunter. Skylights in every room.
