Artie Lange Lists New Jersey House

Comedian, author and radio personality Artie Lange has listed his home in Toms River, New Jersey. Lange has had a tough year after a reported suicide attempt and hasn't yet returned to his usual gig on Howard Stern's satellite radio show. Property records show that Lange bought the three-story home on .27 acres back in 2008 for $2.45 million. He also has an apartment in the Shipyard neighborhood of Hoboken, where he currently lives. The home was built in 2008 and has a slightly nautical theme with bright blue and yellow walls and a white-tiled kitchen. The waterfront five-bedroom home has an in-ground pool and includes a sports memorabilia-filled game room. This home is listed at $3.5 million.

Nice home on the water. Doesn't look like he ever lived in it. This home just needs a big family to occupy it!

I wish him well. He's had a tough time of it.

Looks like a beautiful home. I would love to see it the next time I am in Toms River, but that won't be before next summer. I always spend 2 weeks every summer at the Jersey Shore (Ocean Beach) and love every minute of it!

Hi Karen. We had rented houses in Ocean Beach as well in the past. We have stayed on Amberjack, Penguin, Kingfisher and my cousin used to own a house on Sailfish. I have always dreamed about owning a house down there. Great memories.

If he bought it in 2008 for 2.45M, how could he think that it has increased in value to 3.5M since then when the real estate market has gone down so much. I guess he still puffing on the pipe...

What a coincidence! I know exactly where you have rented! We use to own a house on West Crane and now we rent from a girl who we have known forever on Swordfish. I miss our place so much, but there is nothing like Ocean Beach in the world! I could not imagine spending a good chunk of my summer anywhere else!
I am usually there in June during the week of June 22 (that's my birthday and always spend my birthday there) and then for another week in August (but it all depends on work schedule to determine what week).
My uncle lives in Ocean Beach Shores. He had a rough summer with his wife of 43 years dying of cancer, kidney failure and Alzheimers, but he seems to be doing quite well under the circumstances.
This is awesome! Someone else actually knows where Ocean Beach is!
