Photo Tour: Bijan, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills
The announcement of the new Bijan custom Rolls-Royce was the perfect excuse to visit the Bijan boutique on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. The designer, known for his love of bright yellow and for providing custom clothing for presidents, sports stars, celebrities and royalty around the world, has created a line of Limited Edition Phantom models bearing Bijan's signature design and costing more than $1 million each. There will be just 30 of these cars made. The Bijan boutique was decked out for the launch of the car and Bijan's own yellow Rolls-Royce was parked outside. The designer is a collector of exotic yellow cars. The first Bijan Rolls-Royces will be presented next spring.
I couldn't resist taking some pictures of this store which is replete with amazing details like the Bijan fragrance chandelier above. The store is a unique mixture of extravagant, abundant over-the-top luxury with an incredibly fussy attention to detail. Let's take a tour.
The doors to the closets also feature perfume bottles as handles.
A sweeping staircase leads upstairs to the Bijan private collection.
The upstairs salon includes a logn table decked out with images of the many famous people who have visited the Bijan store.
The upstairs features a series of closets that are laid out in specific colorways for maximum dazzling effect.
