Alleged Swindler Scammed Out of $800,000 by New York City Limo Driver

A New York City limo driver allegedly stole the credit card information belonging to a Hong Kong-based near billionaire and racked up nearly $800,000 in fraudulent charges, according to court documents filed in a Federal Court in Brooklyn.
Astonishingly, the victim is so wealthy, he wasn't even aware he had been defrauded of hundreds of thousands of dollars until it was brought to his attention by the company that had issued the charge card.
It all started when celebrity feng shui adviser, Chan Chun Chuen, also known as "Tony Chan" (seen above), traveled by private jet in July 2008 arriving at New Jersey's Teterboro Airport before being transported to Manhattan by Queens, N.Y.-based driver, Peter S. Rahhaoui. According to an indictment filed in U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York, Rahhaoui later used Chan's American Express card to "receive payment and other things of value". The fraudulent activity allegedly occurred between August 2008 and November 2009 .
U.S. Secret Service Agent Kwame Davis testified that he had been contacted by a fraud investigator working on behalf of American Express who was investigating a pattern of fraudulent activity for a card issued to Chan Chun Chuen. According to Kwame's testimony, a large number of charges were posted on a monthly basis by A&S Limousine Service, for amounts ranging between $4,300 and $19,242. According to court documents, the total amount of these charges was $794,986.
But in a strange twist of events, the victim's own alleged misdoings are now being used as a defense by Rahhaouhi.
According to the New York Post, Chan Chun Chuen was arrested in Hong Kong stemming from allegations that he presented a forged will that made him the sole heir to billionaire Nina Wang's fortune. Wang was the richest woman in Asia with an estimated net worth of $4 billion at the time of her death at age 67 three years ago (according to Forbes). But the allegedly forged will is not the only legal trouble in Hong Kong that Chan Chun Chuen is facing. Wang, who was a love interest of Chan Chun Chuen's, allegedly paid him hundreds of millions of dollars for his feng shui skills. According to the NY Post, Hong Kong tax collectors have slapped Chan with a $41 million charge.
Rahhaouhi has pleaded not guilty. According to the NY Post, he is claiming the American Express charges were authorized by Chan Chun Chuen.

Linda, it was Bill Clinton and the Democrats who signed the free trade Bill that sent our jobs overseas. He has since admitted it was a mistake. Where do you get your news, from, MSNBC or do you just listen to liberal gossip??? When will you libs ever learn to think for yourself and get it right for a change. Now that would be CHANGE WE COULD BELIEVE IN ! Good grief woman, you liberals have screwed up this country for the past 40 years and you still don't know what is going on. Obama is still making business lose jobs by supporting the unions that elected him with huge amounts of cash, and they are the ones driving business away by demanding outrageous wages that makes business here unable to compete with overseas businesses. Get it through your head. get a clue about what your talking about before you post this nonsense.

Sorry Linda: The first 4 years of Bush went very well, gas just over a dollar, Market doing well, everyone had a job.
Then the Dems took over for the 2nd four and the s....t hit the fan, the people started losing the homes they should not have bought in the first place as they did not have a downpayment. It was the Dems that enacted the laws deregulating the banks and Wall street so "everyone could have a chance at the "american dream" buying a house they could not afford.
Those laws were enacted by the Clinton congress before Bush came and reinforced after Bush was in. Also the laws to allow the jobs being sent to China were also enactd by the Dems, not the Reps. Now our Pres is trying to correct that but its too late, the jobs are gone and will not come back.

Linda: If the Reps had all those rich people suuporting them how come the Dems campaign treasury had more than double the money in theirs contributed by the unions and still lost. It was the Dems aqnd Clinton that sent the jobs to China not the Reps. Actually it was caused by the greed of our unions who kept asking more and more till squezzed the manufacturers who went along the Dem proposed Nafta agreements.

to the guy who would donate it ALL to the Catholic church....I will also, just as soon as they sell one or two of those expensive, gold paintings, or statues sitting in the basement of the Vatican and use the money to feed all the starving Catholics in the world, then I will donate what I can to their charities.

Where are Teddy Roosevelt and Ross Perot when we need them. As long as we have this gridlocked two party system, nothing will get done.
