The cats loved the ironing board ......I hated it. They use the cat scratch pole AND the furniture. I only want 2 cats, but my Husband wants to keep all 6 of them, He doesn't clean up after them or even feed them. I have to do all of that. All he does is pet them and play with them. You can get your hardware store to cut the wood for you, staple the carpet to it and nail or screw the shelves to the 4x4 upright.
