Kim Kardashian Shows Off Her Curves For W Magazine

Kim Kardashian loves her body. She has never been one to shy away from showing it off. She always looks impeccably put together and beautiful, especially in her form fitting, body conscious, making men drool dresses. Given her past spread in both Playboy (which she says she regretted) and in Harper's Bazaar, it comes as no surprise that Ms. Kardashian would grace the cover of W's November Art issue in the buff.
Kardashian's revealing photos, where she is covered from her neck down in silver metallic body paint, have been available online for weeks now. And there's been a lot of buzz about it - some good and some bad. Needless to say, I think the photos are beautiful. The ability to photograph the human body in its purest form and capture its beauty while translating that into a captivating and artistic editorial spread is no small feat and editorial photographer Mark Seliger accomplishes this task well.
But after reading Lynn Hirschberg's article, you not only see a deeper and human side of Kim, but you realize all of the effort and years of hard work that she has put into launching herself into a multi-million dollar brand. Among the long lists of projects, Kardashian has come out with a tv show, jewelry, clothes, perfume, exercise tapes; is paid to attend parties and endorse products, is a spokesmodel for QuickTrim, PerfectSkin and recently Kotex, is an executive producer for 3 tv shows (Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami, and The Spin Crowd), and will be releasing a book with her sisters in November. The girl works hard!
In conjunction, the editorial and photospread are a reflection of Kim Kardashian putting herself out there through various projects for the world to see. And the world attentively watches, often with criticism, but hopefully they'll learn to support.
