Maury Povich and Connie Chung in New Jersey, Estate of the Day

Television hosts Connie Chung and Maury Povich have put their New Jersey home on the market. Move.com reports that the pair are selling Locustwood, their Middletown, N.J. Greek Revival Manor house. The pair also own a home in New York City and one in Montana. In 2009, the Wall Street Journal reported that they were in contract to buy in the Embassy Row area of Washington and planned to move with their son from New York in 2010 or 2011

The home was built in 1832 by Charles Hendrickson, a successful Dutch merchant. and the home has been nominated for National Registry of Historic Places. The listing describes it as being perfectly restored in mint condition. The property includes the 12-room main home with four bedroom, a spacious guest house and two live-in cabanas overlooking the in-ground pool. The 4.66 acre property also include garages, a workshop, putting green and an original barn with a loft. The property is listed at $2.3 million. Check out a virtual tour here.

These people that appear on the show call it themselves. It's not like the show calls around looking for people to appear. If you're willing to go on a show that airs to millions of people and make an a$$ out of yourself then i would air it also. And laught all the way to the bank. Like maury is doing. So don't hate on him hate on the many ignorant people that appear on it. You are not the father!! lmfao....

I totally agree....and let it be known that the people that appear on his show are flown there and placed in a hotel all at the expense of the show. However, I do believe that SOME of the guests that come for makeovers are just for show. NO woman I know will get on a plane, a bus or a bicycle to go to the Maury Show looking the way some of these women do.

Nice, I love those guys. Connie was the best ever. I'm sure they could afford a lot more, but in New Jersey, in this market you can buy a huge piece of property for 1m, they're buried too, but you got to live somewhere. As I downsize myself, why do we need so much? Just more stuff to have to manage....

That's what a trash-talk show will buy. All you have to do is have idiots with no scrupels on your show who never heard of being even a little bit classy who are usually fat and definitely ignorant and screw around all the time, and you can be very successful.

I always liked Connie & Maury. This is their house, their money,
their taste. I do wish Maury hadn't sold out for bigger ratings.

What a huge disappointment. I live in a small, normal condo in a nice area and my house looks nicer. Wish mine had the million dollar price tag lol But if they like it that way, well, its their house. But if they ever go to sell it, it needs alot of work.

If you can get past rooms full of occasional pieces that do not match, and look only at the property you might see the place a bit differently. Nevertheless, when you are 150 you might need a bit of work too. LOL

What is with these people who think that their bedrooms are supposed to be nothing but white? Are they trying to make themselves feel clean or something?

Like everyone else it's their job, and they do it for the money..Don't we all wish we could make millions of dollars doing our job. I for one am jealous. Just like Jerry Springer...supposedly he's one of the richest men in the world. He's capitalizing on people that want to watch his sleazy show (which I don't watch his or Maury's show); but u can't blame Jerry or Maury for following the money. It's not their fault that there are lots of idiots out here that are willing to go on TV for 15 minutes and embarrass themselves

It's a beautiful home and setting. A little out of my price range. These folks are actors. They work for promoters. It's just a job - like going to the shows to see a favorite actor playing the vilian. If you don't like a show/character being played, don't watch. In the meantime, the home is peaceful and would be a wonderful place to go at the end of a loud/hectic recording.

It doesn't matter how many homes you have, you can't wash the stink off your people you found in the gutter.

Connie and Maury your both scum and this shows what the oboma team gets their support from. Maury is the black people and jerry the white people red necks scum people and should be taken off the air.

For your information, I saw these shows in Turkey and the Turkish people asked if I knew them and had people like these living in my neighborhood. They thought all americans were like these scum. Don't touch maury Connie he might have touched these scum.

Most of you sound like haters! You can talk about his show all you want. At least he is taking it to the bank. And there is nothing trashy about helping and inicent child know who his or her parent is. It's also helping us tax payers. Finding out the real father, they can get child support and not welfare.

Maury is like a reverse Rapper, instead of some no talent slug making money off of ignorant( someday you'll all go. WTF was I thinking) white idiots, Maury is making dough off of all the ignorant blacks on his show. But one thing he doesn't have to worry about is all these guy's stepping up and taking care of their kids. They promise they will!
