Maury Povich and Connie Chung in New Jersey, Estate of the Day

Television hosts Connie Chung and Maury Povich have put their New Jersey home on the market. Move.com reports that the pair are selling Locustwood, their Middletown, N.J. Greek Revival Manor house. The pair also own a home in New York City and one in Montana. In 2009, the Wall Street Journal reported that they were in contract to buy in the Embassy Row area of Washington and planned to move with their son from New York in 2010 or 2011

The home was built in 1832 by Charles Hendrickson, a successful Dutch merchant. and the home has been nominated for National Registry of Historic Places. The listing describes it as being perfectly restored in mint condition. The property includes the 12-room main home with four bedroom, a spacious guest house and two live-in cabanas overlooking the in-ground pool. The 4.66 acre property also include garages, a workshop, putting green and an original barn with a loft. The property is listed at $2.3 million. Check out a virtual tour here.

So, having one of the trashiest shows on television and having no respect as a journalist pays. Many years ago he and his wife had respect in the news business, but they are both jokes now. I wonder if he ever even suggests to his producers about trying to bring some class to his show? Watch it sometime and see what I mean.

I'm with you Pat. But we must remember one thing and that is that these lowlifes on his show make some good $ to be put on display so all can watch. Problem is all the people are the same. Super fat, welfare, cheating, adulterers, wife beaters child molesters and every concievable scum you can think of. Don't you love television today? Kevin

Please, his show isn't HALF as bad as these trashy, slutty, "scripted" reality shows, what about all of these stupid housewives shows, where the ONLY goal of those plastic and fake a$$ women, is to outdo each other.

Let's not forget about the network "pimp" shows....the bachelor/ the bachelorette...when a network can pay you to sell out and put your mouth and hands all over numerous men and women, guess what? YOU'RE BEING PIMPED!

The soaps are getting sluttier and trasher, the characters on those shows change bed partners like they changer their underwear...all the women get pregnant from a man other than her husband, but no one catches diseases...hmm go figure.

No, I am not a Maury fan, but hey...I'd rather watch him anyday than half of the crap that's on T.V

Why are red necks so negative? Who in the hell made them an authority figure or better yet an expert on any damn thing? You pecker-woods need to get a life. I am proud of Maury and Connie. They are decent people.

What an incredibly confusing piece of property with what looks like two similar homes and a cabana. Old chewed up rocking chair and similar chairs around the dining table and other belongings that would fit right in at the Goodwill. Not trying to be mean here. Just very disappointed that these two wouldn't have collected better furniture and put it in a better home. I acknowledge it's a very old home.

Gee, Im thought their house looked like a home that was comfortable enough to actually live in it. It was bright and cheerful and didn't look like Frankensteins Castle.

I agree 100% about his show and the place he has carved out in society. UGH. That said, I see a pretty old home-except for the nice pool-with a load of really tacky furniture to adorn it. There is literally nothing here. A chewed up rocking chair? Honestly....this is dismal. I would have thought they lived better than this.

yep I would take it in a minute and then sell it and buy one in my home town.I watch him if the program is not to bad.I would rather watch Jimmy Swaggart tho and I do all day long and my life is much better
