Track Flight Status on Your iPhone

Monitoring your flight status is critical when traveling by air but wouldn't it be wonderful if you could avoid that unpleasant bumper-cars style crowd that's always jostling around in front of the arrivals and departures board? You can, if you have an iPhone or iPad and download the new Flightboard app by Mobiata. Covering over 4000 airports and 1400 airlines worldwide it shows the status of any flight at any airport in real time at the touch of a button. It updates every five minutes so you're never out of the loop and quick sharing via Twitter, Facebook, and email means your family and friends aren't either. Other features include easy searching, fast switching between departures and arrivals, and a display that's inspired by the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris for a charming old time feel. Get it at The App Store now for $3.99.

Hi There,
I travel around the World at least once month from Wellington, New Zealand and am constantly prone to delayed or cancelled flights and my business contacts and family are constantly trying to understand when I am landing so that they can reach me.
I have therefore created an iPhone application that gives live departures and arrivals information for any flights at any given airport around the World. You can find an overview of the application at http://www.3dot5.net/blog/world-flights/.
There is also a draw to win an ipad everytime a milestone of 10,000 download is reached on the AppStore, more information can be found on:http://www.3dot5.net/blog/win-an-ipad-with-world-flights/
Cheers,
Patrice
