You can buy a pair of Allen Edmonds, for not much over $350! It's the only American-made shoe, which Italy will allow into the country. I've owed two pairs in my life and there isn't any competition, as far as I'm concerned. My first pair lasted 25 years and were still in excellent shape, so I gave them away when they no longer fit. That's $14 per year and you will be a "sharp-dressed man." Or, you can spend $49 per year and always look like you have $49 shoes.

Allen Edmonds @ around $350-400 are the best, most comfortable, high quality, long lasting shoes I have owned. They are definately worth the price.
